Doug Jones, who returns to do the physical acting of Abe Sapien in Hellboy 2 and will lend his movements to the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, talked with iF Magazine about the sequels.

Regarding Hellboy 2: The Golden Army: It's officially at Universal, and I'm told that they're aiming for filming to begin April 1st, 2007. With a release date, and I heard scuttlebutt, for the summer of 2008. HELLBOY opened in early April, so maybe they'll aim for that time of year again.

iF: Are you still waiting for word on the big Marvel Superhero project - FANTASTIC FOUR AND THE SILVER SURFER?

JONES: As I'm standing at the store that sells lovely beautiful shimery silver colored outfits, I'm standing at the checkout, and my credit card is still in the approval process, but as a I look to my left and to my right I see that there are no other people waiting there. [Laughs] It's just one of those things.
