Actor Stephen Lang told MTV News that his fight scenes utilizing a huge mechanized battle suit in Avatar is nothing compared to what we will see from him as Khalar Singh in Conan.

"The look we created in this film, I've never been prouder than the creation of this role."

"I have a very cool and difficult to master — it took me many, many years to master — a double-bladed parallel scimitar which can do all kinds of things, can break apart and can turn into a scythe. It requires tremendous dexterity and deftness and agility to handle it, none of which I've mastered!"

"I wanted him to be like a knife. I wanted him, in profile, to almost disappear if possible. I actually have some photos that I am forbidden to show right now. I know there are these photos of Jason out there, this gorgeous stud of a Conan leaping around shirtless. Truth of the matter is, I kick his ass for almost two hours."

Hawksblueyes: I know there are many on this site that don't like anything about this movie. I for one can't wait to see it.

LMFAO!!! I love this dude! Too bad FOX is run by a bunch of fcuking morons or they would've snatched this dude up to play Cable and fixed their continuity issues....

...oh, wait, that makes too much damn sense.

HAWKS: Great find bud! By the way, I'm not sure if you saw my response to you on Ed's FF article so I'll repost it here if you dont mind! :)

I've never been a huge FF fan either but check out Mark Waid and the late, great Mike Weiringo's run on the title from a few years back. It's action packed, hilarious and at one point even made me cry...it's probably the greatest run on the characters EVER in fact.

Thanks Josh I'll have to check out that run. You can tell how old I am, the last run that I enjoyed from the FF was way back when John Byrne was still penciling the book. EONS ago. ;)

RomatEr: Classic!

HAWKS: Lol, no worries bud! You can pick up the entire run in three hardbacks which you'll probably find pretty cheaply now as they're a few years old. You've got everything from (dont worry, these arent spoilers as you can read this info on the back of the actual books!) the FF taking over Latveria to the team taking a trip to heaven and Johnny becoming a herald to Galactus. Real amazing stuff.

Juggernaut: Yes he does. That reminds me, it has crossed my mind many times about certain type cast actors through the years. Do the casting directors say to each other, "man this part would be great for so and so. He is such a good dillweed"?
ManThing

LOL!!! Yeah I think it's it's called "typecasting". It's supposed to be the bane of an aspiring actor's existence because evidently it can be limiting if the actor wishes to branch out.

he certainly played and extreme dillweed in Avatar. Before that I never even saw this guy before. Now that that one mean Sargent dude from Full Metal Jacket is getting old they will probably look to this guy more and more to play douche bag military roles and the like.
Chief of police. Black ops dickbag. Like that.

So yeah casting directors probably do say something just like that.
