After releasing the teaser poster earlier today, Walt Disney Studios has finally uncovered the first official teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and it looks like the film may be taking things back to the basics as the teaser does a pretty good job raising more than a few fond memories of 2003's The Curse of the Black Pearl.
There's a severe lack of Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow in the one-and-half minute teaser, but we do catch a thrilling look at Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem as the nefarious Captain Salazar as well as franchise newcomer Brenton Thwaites's Henry, who seems to have a beat on Sparrow's location.
