This film will be a masterpiece, literally every shot in the trailers is a work of art and a visual spectacle. This could be the movie of 2016

I really like Andy Serkis, but what was Warner Bros. thinking when they greenlit their own "Jungle Book" movie? Now that this one is getting rave reviews, that's going to put a lot of pressure on Serkis's film coming this fall. Hell, the Disney one will likely be out on video right before theirs hits theaters.

@Chewtoy - Warner Brothers Jungle Book film will be dark and gritty and realistic. It won't get reviews as good or make as much money because Disney pays critics to bash on WB and Disney's kiddie films appeal to everyone. WB's jungle book won't make as much because people won't understand it and call it dumb. We're finally getting an adult realistic version of the jungle book, and people are complaining. Whatever, just keep giving Disney your money and trusting critics you sheep

This movie looks like a giant CGI cartoon. Correction. This movie is a giant CGI cartoon -- totally fake. Why bother?

@GeneralZod - As opposed to a live action cartoon ? Aren't all cartoons CGI now ?

@MiopTop - Look at what JJ Abrams did with Star Wars. CGI, of course, but tons of actual fighting on actual sets, a built up Millenium Falcon, etc. Then you watch this trailer for Jungle Book and it's a BS jungle with BS animals.

@GeneralZod - You know you can't build walking animal animatronics that look half decent right ? And almost all the characters in the jungle book are animals. It works on Star Wars because ships don't need to move to look realistic. And most of the practical aliens happen to have human body structure, unlike real animals.

The only option would be to use real animals, which is expensive, dangerous, often times cruel to the animal and overall impossible to get them to do exactly what you want them to
