The family of a stuntman injured while filming The Hangover: Part II have blasted the movie’s bosses for allegedly allowing footage of the scene to be used in the film’s trailer.
Australian Scott McLean, whose film credits include The Matrix and Ghost Rider, was shooting a daring road stunt in Thailand as a body double for actor Ed Helms in December when a truck and a car collided.
He received treatment for a severe brain injury and was later moved to a hospital in Bangkok, where he was reportedly placed in a medically-induced coma
McLean is still recovering from the accident at a hospital in Sydney and his family has been left furious after the scene which left him fighting for his life was included in the promo footage.
His sister-in-law Michelle McLean tells Australian publication The Sun-Herald, “To have that scene used in the preview is a real kick in the face to all those who know Scott.
“It is sickening to watch, as we all know what happens next.”
