Has "Green Hornet" Found Its Kato?

Has "Green Hornet" Found Its Kato?

While nothing has been locked down - or officially announced- rumors are spreading that Korean star Kwon Sang-Woo might be Green Hornet's new Kato.

We know that the Hornet team (Seth Rogen, co-writer Evan Goldberg and director Michel Gondry) have been searching for a new sidekick to replace Stephen Chow, who ditched both the director's chair and the Kato part.

Now, according to the team at Latino Review, Kwon might be the man to snatch the role. He's massively popular in Korea, and boasts some impressive martial arts moves.

Apparently his English isn't quite as good as Chow's but he kicks just as much ass!

I believe Kwon Sang-Woo is more into drama, judging by the number of Korean soap operas he starred in for the past years (Stairway to Heaven, Love Song, Cruel Love). Why not the guy who played Agent Zero in Wolverine, Daniel Henney...he's also Korean? or Byun Hun Lee (Storm Shadow)? or Jet Li, perhaps?

Congratulations to ewoksoup for that winning Avatar, LOL!

Who cares? As a big fan of the GH TV show(1966-'67)this movie has disaster written all over it.From what I've read of interviews with the cast of this movie they have no respect for the TV series or any of the source material for the GH & Kato. If you need a similar example just look at what the producers did to the live action Thunderbirds movie from several years ago.
