X-Men: First Class now, according to the
LA Times, FX is at it again securing the television rights to Warner Brother's Green Lantern. Television rights most the time work as such: The licensing for the movies generally runs four to five years and cost from 10 to 12 percent of the US box office take. Most of the time there is a cap of about 200 million dollars.
Reports the LA Times:
Though an opening of more than $50 million for Warner Bros.' "Green Lantern" was seen as a disappointment, it was strong enough for FX to open up its checkbook and snag the basic cable rights to the Ryan Reynolds flick.
There is no word on when
Green Lantern will appear on the network, but you can catch it in theaters
