Last night, it was revealed that James Gunn is involved in a small screen reboot of Starsky & Hutch and after warning fans that there's a lot of incorrect information about the project floating around, DC Films boss Geoff Johns replied to make a crack about misinformation online (which surely has something to do with those reports about The Batman) and to praise Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!
Gunn replied saying he's a fan of what Warner Bros. is doing with its DC Extended Universe and the two then poked fun at the so-called rivalry between them and Marvel. To prove that they're on the same page, Gunn even jokingly offered to trade a Marvel character for DC fan-favourite Bat-Mite!
We do, of course, know that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is friends with Johns but it's still nice to see this sort of interaction between representatives of both Marvel and DC Entertainment. Now, when exactly are we going to get that Avengers/Justice League crossover? Time will tell on that front...
