James Gunn Offers Up Sneak Peek At Special Version Of The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Script

If you were under the impression that "I Am Groot!" is meaningless, think again! As you can see below, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn has taken to Twitter to share a sneak peek of a special version of the screenplay which only he and Vin Diesel have access to. In it, all of the sentient tree's lines are printed in English, something the rest of the movie's cast clearly isn't clued in on.

During a Facebook Live Q&A (which can also be seen below), Gunn shed some light on the movie's plot, explaining how it differs to the first instalment by exploring the concept of family in a very different way, particularly in regards to the complex relationship between Gamora and Nebula.

"The first movie was really about becoming a family. This movie is about being a family. And what's harder, becoming a family or being a family? I think it's being a family. That's where you really haven't to deal with each other. And that's what this movie is about. And their sisters. They are family, whether they like it or not. And they also want to kill each other, so it adds a new twist to being a sister." What are you most looking forward to seeing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

This is pretty awesome.

Although you would think that Bradley Cooper would also get this script since he is the one who understands Groot. haha

Although I absolutely loved Civil War and the way they so wonderfully introduced Spidey, I have to say that GOTG is my favorite Marvel movie. It's flawless. Can't wait for the sequel. I've got high hopes

The thing about this site, is that, if I were to write this article, it would not be on the front page.
