Geek.com has had a lot of Marvel scoops as of late, but if they're not legit, they may have made a mistake turning their attentions to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (especially with James Gunn's habit of debunking reports like this on Facebook and Twitter). Anyway, the filmmaker has previously said that some new characters will be added to the team which currently consists of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccon, and Groot, but there will reportedly be THREE of them in total. Those are Yondu (Michael Rooker), Mantis (who it's believed will be played by newcomer Pom Klementieff, and - surprisingly - Nebula (Karen Gillan). That's certainly an interesting selection, but the site doesn't offer any additional details in regards to how they end up factoring into the sequel. How do you feel about these possible additions to the roster in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2? As always, feel free to weigh in with your thoughts on this news in the usual place.
