Reports the site, "Production on Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is expected to be in full swing by the end of this month. Timur Bekmambetov is directing for Fox and producer Tim Burton and has targeted New Orleans, Louisiana as the main area to shoot. The [WannabeSite] reports that a major warehouse in the area is being utilized to build White House sets as well as young Abe's home."

Both Smith and Burton will also be collaborating on the big screen adaptation of Dark Shadow (starring Johnny Depp as vampire Barnabas Collins) which goes before the cameras in April.
