The book is being published by IDW publishing and will be released in July. The comic will feature storylines that will be faithful to the mythology of the show, but will be different than the ones featured in the show. Several writers on the show will be working with the writers on the comic, and the comics will include all the shows major characters, including Sookie and Bill.

@bladeshad

They stay closer to the books than most adaptations. Most of the changes are because the books are all from Sookie's point of view. I would have liked if they kept a little closer with the end of the second book last season but I have no complaints with what they did.

@Bladehad: Maybe we'll get to see her naked, soon. I don't have HBO, but I saw the first season on DVD and am looking forward to the second season on DVD. Even without the hot naked chicks, I'd still love the show. lol
