Sigourney Weaver once again discussed Ghostbusters 3, now with ComingSoon.net, and she also talks a little bit about Avatar 2, saying that she will indeed return.

On Ghostbusters 3:
I have yet to read the script, I've had a couple of calls and I know they're rewriting and all I said was that I hope my son, Oscar, has grown up to be a Ghostbuster and Ivan Reitman said yes.
Beyond that, I have no idea. I hope it comes together, but we already did two wonderful films and, if we have to let this one go, that's fine.

She has also talked that she will return to the sequel of Avatar:
Don't worry, I will be back, Jim [Cameron] says no one ever dies in science fiction. He's told me the stories for the next two movies and I have to say that they're absolutely wonderful and there's a real treat in store. Now we just have to make them.

Ghostbusters 3 is scheduled to begin production next Spring. And Avatar 2 is scheduled to be released in December 2014, the second and third movie will be shot back-to-back.

I thought it was pretty awesome, very overrated at the box office and pretty unoriginal, but I still enjoyed it. Effects were mindblowing.

@Superman17

"The mechanical robot armor thingies from the Matrix" - you mean the things that were ripped off from the Power Loader introduced in Aliens directed by James Cameron? And the Matrix itself being a rip of THe Invisibles?

As for Pocohantas, how many movies has used the going native film trope? A billion. Same like that other trope, y'know the one where some people have a problem and they try to solve it?

If Avatar is Pochantas in space then Inception is The Italian Job in dreams.
