Okay, so some new information has come up about the new season and the anime.

-For the new season it has been confirmed that Mitch Pileggi will be returning as Samuel Campbell but he's not coming back for only one episode. Sera Gamble (executive producer and the new head of the show) was quoted saying the following in Mike Ausiello's article, "What brings Gramps back? “For one thing, he’s a Campbell — from Sam and Dean’s mom’s side of the family,” reminds Gamble, “which, unlike their dad’s, has actually been into hunting for a very long time. There’s a whole side of Sam and Dean’s history that they know nothing about. We’ll get to find out a bit about it this season.”

-The possible episode title for the first episode of the season will be, "Exile on Main Street."

-Season 6 has started filming today (June 30, 2010), and the episode being filmed first is episode 4. Episode 4 will be Jensen Ackles directorial debut and the episode will focus on Bobby.

-Jim Beavers, who is known for playing Bobby Singer on the series, tweeted this yesterday.

And of course he tweeted this this morning.

-The possible title for the fourth episode of the season is "Weekend At Bobby's."

-Sheriff Jody Mills is rumored to return in the fourth episode.

-Here is, from what I can tell, is a finalized pic from the anime of Dean and Sam:

(Call me crazy, but I thought Dean's hair was blonde...)

-Here is the concept art for Jessica. For those who don't remember Jessica was Sam's girlfriend who was killed at the beginning of the series by Azazel.

-According to Supernatural Wiki, "The Winchester brothers (Sam and Dean) will be designed to look like the original actual actors (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki). Sub characters: e.g. John, Bobby, Mary, Jessica etc. will be designed in a completely new way to give fresh impression. Enemies (Creatures, Demon and Ghosts) will be given a cool design taking full advantage of Japanese anime expression."

UPDATE! - Deadline has reported that the Season Premiere of Supernatural and Smallville will both be on Friday, September 24. Thanks to Hawksblueyes for emailing me the information.

That's it for now. The wait continues for the new season, but as usual I will post any new news I find. Go to my fansite HERE for more Supernatural News.

Pretty cool, can't wait to see next season and this animated show!

They'll hopefully be able to get away with more with this anime series, fingers crossed anyways.

@TABOO13, since it's an American production, based on an American property, I'm sure it will be in english.I also read in an article that the Japanese actors who dub Sam and Dean's voice for the show will also do the anime. So I guess we'll get it in English and Japanese. We may even get Ackles and Padalecki voicing their characters.

@taz & TABOO Jensen and Jared said they are going to voice the first few episodes but its unknown it they are going to do all the episodes. Its going to be in Japanese then come to America I think.

You are most certainly welcome. Just don't let it get out that I do nice things, it would ruin my image. =O

i for one cannot wait for next season. this show has gotten progressively better year after year. i am a little worried about a let down story wise though...i mean how can you top the winchesters fighting off the apocolypse. the writers have a tough road ahead.

@flames... Sorry but considering it's based off a live action series that makes absolutely no sense.
