Tim "The Leader" Nelson Eager for Battle in Hulk 2 Movie

In an interview with MTV, a beaming Tim Blake Nelson, who played the all too helpful Dr. Samuel Sterns, a.k.a. the Leader, said he's on board with Hurd's plan for him to play his part in the next one.

Super producer Gale Anne Hurd smoothed fan fears when she told MTV that Hulk 2 was indeed going to happen. Many worried that the Hulk redo didn't make enough money for Marvel to continue the franchise. But, as it turns out, Hurd isn't the only one eager to get going on the sequel.

“I know Gale Ann was talking to you guys about that recently, and I liked hearing it,” he said...

Nelson currently working on another project, "Leaves of Grass," with fellow Hulk actor Edward Norton, and when asked about what Norton was thinking he said...

“We talked about Hulk a little bit, yeah; we made some jokes about it,” Nelson remembered. “It’s all good, and I really do hope the sequel happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on ‘Hulk’ together. I’m eager to do ‘Hulk 2’ if they make it.”

“I feel Edward and I are well-suited for one another. It’s really fun collaborating with him, and he made these characters [in ‘Hulk’ and ‘Leaves’] better.”

“I’m signed on to do ‘Hulk 2’ and ‘3’ whether Edward’s there or not, so it’s not even up to me,” he explained. “When I agreed to do ‘Hulk,’ I signed off for two sequels, so it’s a moot question. I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel — but that’s up to Marvel and Edward.”

Awesome news! I'm glad to hear Hulk 2 will be in the works, I really enjoyed the first flick. Hopefully Norton will be back to resume Bruce Banner, he's one of my favorite actors and he did a fantastic job in the Incredible Hulk.

NICE!!!!!!!

I was wondering what they would do with the Hulk property. I thought Ed Norton's take was very good. I defintely liked it better than the Ang Lee debacle.. I wouldn't mind seeing Norton's cut of the movie assuming what we saw wasn't what he had in mind. I heard there was some disagreements between Norton and Marvel as to the final cut of the movie.

It's sad because I knew he was going to the next villian the second I saw the gamma go into his head(Not much to brag about on this website, I know). My other friends hadn' even heard of the Leader and I felt lame. I need to get a life.

It's kind of funny. TIH was a throwback to the TV show in less-than-subtle ways, and the sequel is inevitably going to draw some comparison to the 90's cartoon.
I'm glad to hear Tim is enthused, aand I hope that sets the tone for the production. I'd love to get as much of the cast back as possible.

Eric Bana wasnt a Bad Hulk. ANG LEE was a bad director. remember "the actors dont make the movie...they just act"...Eric Bana could of been a better hulk if Ang Lee didnt try to turn it into Brokeback HULK lol.

EDWARD NORTON is Hands down one of the best actor alive. He can take a piece of sh** and turn it into gold. ...and even though he wasnt credited for Incredible Hulk's script...He had alot to say in it. Which is why Norton is an amazing actor while Eric bana is just a good actor.

When an actor puts effort into a movie as Norton does...its more than a pay check. Cudos to Norton and his success.
