Eliza Dushku Wants to be Black Widow in Iron Man II

I like her as an actress and most of her movies but she doesnt have anything on Black Widow... not the looks, not the attitude, not the voice. Nothing.

OK. Eliza Dushku is one one of my personal favorite hottest teen actresses of all time. Dollhouse is and will be good. If you didn't see it on FOX last year, check it out this year.

Anyway, as for the casting NO!!!!! Absolutely not, I love her and what not, but I don't believe she's good for this role at ALL! She's smokin' hot and has that smoker sexy raspy hardcore voice and her body is astounding, but not right at all for Black Widow.

NO NO NO, first off, obviously there should be a "romantic interest" between her and Tony... and how old is tony? FREAKIN' 45 years old!!! How the hell these teen chicks (regardless of their actuall age, it's how the freakin' look like) can think of getting that role is beyond me!!! Even Blunt was wrong for it!

Black Widow should at least look like she's in her 30ies, just like Pepper potts does. These actresses are who would be ideal for the role:

-Femke Jenssen
-Kate Beckinsale
-Milla Jovovich
-Charleze Theron
-etc, etc, etc, you get the drift!

One of them does stand out because of her work in Goldeneye and it's Femke Jenssen BUT she's Jean Grey and i'm pretty sure she ain't dead...yet. Milla's voice would suck for this character, it's too childish. Kate or Charleze would be perfect. I would personnaly prefer Charleze over Kate just because of her "presence" on screen. She can pull off a better "experienced seductive operative" than Kate.

Nice call on Kate Beckinsale. Eliza "Douche-Ku" (As Shaman hilariously called her - nice one by the way) although attractive, is just as well suited to this role as Rose McGowan is for Red Sonja. Which is an idea about as appealing as elephantiasis of the balls.

Guys im not saying Dusku is an acting prodigy, but have any of you actually SEEN a Kate Beckinsale "performance"? yes shes hot and really looks the part of black widow, but if its down to talent shes 10 times more wooden as an actress than Dushku

I agree that Kate Beckinsale is perfect for the role. We all know that she can play a bad ass.

What a badass like in Underworld? She spent the entire movie looking like she had wondered on set via a fetish shop, after tea and crumpets with Prince William!

Eliza is a good actress, but JamesH have you seen buffy, her role as faith had the attitude of widow, farmboy she is 28 she is old enough, NoobMike she has been in more then wrong turn she was in buffy for all of season 3 and on and off in 4-7, also she was the main char in tru calling which lasted 2 seasons and she has been in several movies besides teen horror.

Now i don't know if she is perfect for the part but i would accept her in the role but a few ppl have mentioned good ol Kate Beckinsale now i love that women in underworld and she can pull off the leather and the fighting and she looks a lot like Widow but i don't know if she would go for the role because of how close it resembles Selene and she said in an interview that she is prob done w/ underworld because she doesn't want to play a char like that anymore, but if she did want it and took i would love it more then anything, everyone else that has been mentioned for this role besides these two are fail, esp Femke Jenssen i don't really care for her acting style and i really didn't like her as Jean Grey.
