In a recent interview, Robert Downey Jr. revealed a few tid-bits of information about the highly-anticipated sequel to 2008's Iron Man. Downey Jr. confirmed that there will be Iron Man armor modifications, saying:

"Everything has been improved. Everything is ergonomic and the story is incredibly risky and artistic for a big genre movie."

Downey Jr. admitted that he hasn't filmed any scenes with Mickey Rourke yet, but he has seen some of Rourke's work:

"I’ve seen his stuff and it is literally remarkable. Literally remarkable. He’s so good. And he’s formidable and he’s very much reminding me of that kind of charming, confident guy that we know."

Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Tony Stark’s assistant, Pepper Potts with Samuel L. Jackson resuming his role as Nick Fury. Iron Man 2 also stars Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mickey Rourke as Whiplash and Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer.

Iron Man 2 blasts into theaters May 7, 2010!

"FTW" means "For The Win." I can't wait for the sequel. This was the first comic movie that I even cared about seeing in, like, pretty much forever.

the vines, one of my favorite rock-the-daylights-out-of-you bands, have a song called "FTW." when they use it, though, it means "f*** the world". ...which in my opinion is much cooler.

Rorschach,
(I'm just messing with you here, not really being a douche bag...) That was Taz with ONE Z when he was the FTW Champion. Believe it or not I used to work for ECW for a couple years. Those were the best days of wrestling. I can't watch it anymore and haven't for years but the mid-to-late '90s of ECW was the best. Tommy Dreamer and Mike Awesome (among others) were 2 of the nicest and coolest guys.

Anyway, that's it for my wrestling talk because I absolutely hate it now.

No, metalhead your absolutely right! I was corrupted by his miserable extra z in WWE. Man ECW was amazing, i cant believe you worked for them! Were you a wrestler or behind the scenes or what? The current ECW is nothing to the original, but out of the 3 brands i find they still put out the best matches! And its good to see Dreamer on tv, even if he is losing every week!

Shit, guess i better say something about Iron Man..that pic above me of War Machine is cool
MetalHead

Yeah, I was behind the scenes. It was so much fun. I have my pictures with everyone-- Raven, Dreamer, RVD, Sandman, Axl, Spike, Mike Awesome, Kronus, Tajiri, Jerry Lynn, Justin Credible, Nova, etc. I have an entire photo album. It's awesome. Not to mention TONS of front row pics. And they all were awesome guys. I can't stress that enough, they were awesome. Super friendly. I have a bunch of cool stories. Since I'm bored I'll tell a couple good ones.

One night the main event for a house show ended with The Dudleyz jumping Dreamer, Spike & New Jack. The Sandman was supposed to run in and make the save and close out the show. Everyone was waiting for him and the crowd was chanting "Sandman! Sandman!" But he was nowhere to be found! So instead of "Enter Sandman" coming over the speaker system and The Dudleyz getting caned, the show just ended. 10 minutes after the fans cleared out, he shows up. He was getting drunk at a bar down the street and couldn't find the place! He was wrecked. So funny. Everyone laughed it off. That guy really was ALWAYS drunk! Really nice guy though.

A personal favorite story wasn't really anything funny or exciting, but it was just getting to watch ECW DVDs with Raven.

And as far as Tommy Dreamer goes, he couldn't be a nicer guy. He seriously is one of the best in-ring performers. He puts over guys so well, gets the crowd into it and always put the company and the business above himself. To say that he was the heart and soul of ECW was such an understatement. He put so much time into that company, whether it was booking, traveling around to promote the company, doing autograph sessions, etc.-- the guy in the ring that you cheer for really is the guy that is back stage. Such a nice guy. I first realized this during my first month when I introduced myself to Tommy after already meeting him a few weeks prior for only a few minutes and he said "yeah, I know, I met you in (I don't remember where exactly that it was at the time)." At that point I didn't think I would have stuck out in his mind but the point of the story is that he wasn't just going through the motions when I met him the first time, he really was paying attention and that's just how he was, a genuinely nice guy and a wrestler who is as much a fan of wrestling as the fans are.

I'll also say in regards to the current state of wrestling being garbage, I remember the major turning point in WWE from a backstage perspective (not my perspective but the ECW wrestlers' perspectives). The 2000 Royal Rumble was seen by pretty much every ECW wrestler and they all said that it was probably the best pay-per-view that they'd ever seen. TazZ debuted against Kurt Angle, The Dudleyz fought The Hardyz in what was at the time an insane match, and the main event was an excellent street fight for the title putting Cactus Jack against Triple H. It was that PPV that basically changed the face of wrestling for the next bunch of years to come, and it was all because of ECW. To me, there is just no soul anymore.

Quick reference to the TazZ comment-- Taz recently stated on his Facebook page that he'll be "making an impact soon," implying that he'll be showing up in TNA either this week or next, supposedly managing Samoa Joe. In the same statement he said (now that he is no longer with WWE) that he HATED adding the extra Z too.

Scarlett Johansson "actress"actually is a clone from original person, who has nothing with acting career.Clone was created illegally using stolen biomaterial.Original Scarlett Galabekian last name is nice, CHRISTIAN young lady.Original family didn't authorize any activity with stolen biomaterials,no matter what form it was created in,it's all need to be back to original family control in Cedars-Sinai MedicalCenter in LA.Controlling clones is US military operation.Original Scarlett never was engaged,by the way

Metalhead thats amazing stuff, im jealous! Yeah Dreamer was always my favorite. I know he was never about the wins or the titles but i would love to see him hold the title one more time before he retires..even if its just that bastardized ECWee title. The best matches foe me where prob RDV vs Jerry Lynn..i dont think i can remember seeing a more exiting series of matches. So Taz is coming back ? Man, surely he wont be wrestling? Be great to see him in TNA though.

I had the honor of meeting Terry Funk on Canada once when the company i was working for interviewed him. It was only for a few minutes but he was really nice and signed a pic for me and stuff.

Iron Man rules!

Rorschach,
Yeah, you're probably right about the RVD/Jerry Lynn matches. I was lucky that I got to see quite a few of them. It's funny cause those 2 just kept trying to blow their previous match out of the water. I remember one of their first matches when Jerry Lynn went for a tornado DDT from the top turnbuckle and after the spinning part was done and it was time for RVD to be DDT'd he paused and reversed it SO smoothly into a Northern lights suplex and that blew my mind. Nowadays the move isn't even a big deal to see in a match but those 2 made up many little things that have become everyday manuevers and counters.

Wow, that's cool that you met Terry Funk. I've seen him wrestle a few times in person but never got to meet him. He didn't do many of the tours and for the most part usually only wrestled in Philly (with ECW) so although I saw ECW in many states, I was never lucky enough to cross paths with Terry outside the ring. But from everything I've heard and read about him, he is very similar to Tommy.

And although it would seem that Tommy has been raped by ECWEE (good one) he actually isn't bothered by it as he sees it as a job at this point and has no problem puting the younger guys over. It's funny because Tommy always wanted to be the guy who everyone loved but NEVER won a title and all that changed when The Dudleyz were leaving for WWE and on the same night Raven returned. So Raven hits the ring and helps Dreamer win the tag titles (I'm sure you've seen it) in one of my all-time favorite wrestling moments, and so at that point he figured that since he'd held the tag titles that there was no reason not to hold the others. He just always knew that he didn't need the belt to get him over, which was absolutely true. But I'm with you, I'd love for him to win the title one more time prior to retirement, which from what I hear will be this summer.

And speaking of retired ECW wrestlers, you're right, supposedly Taz (and yes, in TNA he'll be dropping the 2nd Z) won't be wrestling but it will still be cool to see him with a fresh gimmick and it's funny cause I always thought it would've been cool to see him manage Samoa Joe and now it looks like he may.

Yeah, War Machine!
