2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company, and the studio has found a number of ways to celebrate the occasion (including an upcoming short featuring the late Robin Williams' return as Genie).

Now, Disney has announced (via Collider) that 2008's Iron Man is receiving a special SteelBook release.

We're guessing this will be a bigger draw to Disney fans than Marvel ones, though that hand-illustrated image of the Armored Avenger is definitely eye-catching. Unfortunately, there are no exclusive bonus features or deleted scenes, but Iron Man has been re-mastered film for 4K Ultra HD.

Pre-orders for the SteelBook are now live on Best Buy, while it's set to be released on September 5.

Iron Man was the movie that started the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it and it remains one of Marvel Studios' best releases.

While Marvel isn't exactly "classic" Disney (the House of Mouse acquired Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion in 2009), it looks like Tony Stark will be front and centre as part of the studio's anniversary celebrations.

Hot Toys previously released a special edition Iron Man figure decked out in the Disney100 colours and, in case you missed it, you can take a closer look below.
