JOKER Set Photos Reveal A Potentially MAJOR SPOILER For The DC Comics Movie

Yet another round of Joker set photos have arrived online and these put the spotlight on a moment which may or may not prove to be a crucial part of the DC Comics adaptation. Hit the jump to take a look!

We've seen a lot of Joaquin Phoenix's transformation into The Joker for Todd Phillips' standalone origin story for the Clown Prince of Crime, but this new round of set photos may reveal a major spoiler for the DC Comics adaptation.

Now, this scene could come from the middle of the movie or even the very end but, as you can see below, there's a very good chance that this is going to be a pivotal moment.

In photos which are bound to bring back memories of The Dark Knight, Pheonix's Arthur Fleck can be seen laughing maniacally in the back of a police car after being arrested in scenes shot in New Jersey. It seems as if this may follow the villain inciting some sort of riot as a stunt double for the actor was also spotted along with an extra wearing a clown mask and wielding a baseball bat.

The Joker winding up behind bars - or even in Arkham Asylum - is bound to have an impact on Fleck, and this could be the moment he's finally captured before spending years locked up waiting for Batman's eventual arrival.

What do you guys think might be happening here? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

Joker centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Todd Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Joker is set to be released on October 4th, 2019.

Newark! My home city! Looks like they're filming near Halsey & Broad, could be wrong though.

I'm going to be honest with a lot of ya, I truly feel that Newark is the perfect location for certain areas of Gotham City. Truly!

@BlackBeltJones - Being from Chicago its awesome when I drive by locations that were in the movie lol. So its cool by me for selfish reasons

@BlackBeltJones - It is for sure. Certain spots of New York City look like Gotham, but Newark, it's like a mini-Gotham City.

Yeah Nolan shot scenes inside City Hall where the League of Shadows are taking over. I believe Morgan Freeman & Anne Hathaway were there.

@BlackBeltJones - I can give you so many reasons why it does, but it is changing a lot lol. Elizabeth on the other hand, that might be how Newark was 15 years ago if they don't clean up that city.

@StarlordsDad - i’m with ya on enjoying the chi-town locations ... while at work, got to watch some of the filming of the opening bank robbery scene, when they were at the old main post office downtown

@AyMan - Spiderman Far from Home filmed in Newark airport yesterday. Zendaya & Tom shot the same scene 18 times. Pretty much the class arriving to EWR for their flight to Europe.

@TheManWithoutFear - I haven't fallen for Josh's click-bait in awhile. No one to blame but myself. A nice reminder of why I stopped looking at his "articles".

@AvatarAang - I've tried my best to warn people off of Josh's "articles" but I often get met with toxic users clapping back and making jokes and still his articles comment sections thrive. So now I'm just switching gears and laughing at the people who complain and joke. The people on here don't know what they want, but love to complain while participating. Its chaos at its finest!

Josh is the editor CBM deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll make fun of him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our best contributor. He's a clickbait guardian, a watchful list article maker. A Dick Knight.
