DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS Star Dwayne Johnson Reveals Post-Credits Scene And Teases Future Plans - SPOILERS

DC League of Super-Pets has only just landed in theaters, but star Dwayne Johnson has shared some screenshots online along with a tease of a future battle we've all been waiting for. Check it out...

DC League of Super-Pets arrived in theaters this past weekend, and star Dwayne Johnson has now taken to Instagram to, uh, spoil the movie's post-credits scene.

In that, John Krasinski's Superman is confronted by Black Adam, along with his dog Anubis. Krypto fools his fellow canine into flying his owner to Pluto, though the stage is obviously set for the human and dog heroes to clash in a possible sequel. We've all been waiting for Superman vs. Black Adam on screen, of course, but little did we know it would happen in animation first!

"You guys already know how I feel about Superman vs Black Adam," Johnson says in the spoilery Instagram post below. "The Indestructible Force meets the Immovable Object."

"With the DC Super Pets Universe we had an opportunity to build out this awesome animated universe in a big, fun, cool way....At [Seven Bucks Productions] we have major plans to build out the Black Adam DC Universe and now the DC Super Pets Universe with our partners [Warner Bros.] & [DC Comics] - and Super Pets [and] Black Adam is just the beginning."

Johnson lends his voice to Black Adam, Anubis, and Krypto in this scene, and with the way he's talking here, it sounds like very much like he'll be instrumental in the DC Extended Universe's future. We often see the actor's fans campaign for him to becoming President, but at this rate, he may be DC Films President first!

In an interview with Newsweek, Jared Stern also opened up on this memorable stinger.

"I just felt like Dwayne Johnson is such an amazing performer and a big man. So one part wasn't enough for him. He needed to be in the scene playing three parts," the filmmaker says. "And I think he pulled it off. He feels like three completely different people - and dogs in the scene. It was just a little bit of fun."

It's obviously hard to say whether this scene is actually leading to anything, though a mid-credits tease also lays the groundwork for more stories set in this world. Reviews for the movie have been positive, so providing box office numbers are good, we could see more from this franchise very soon (including a fight between Superman, Black Adam, and their respective pets).

This guy is obsessed with Superman. He seems oblivious to the fact that without Shazam/Captain Marvel, Black Adam wouldn't even exist.😏

''it sounds like very much like he'll be instrumental in the DC Extended Universe's future''

He's kinda the last person I want spearheading the DC universe. I think a Shazam/Superman (or maybe even the whole JL) vs Black Adam could still be fun, but nothing beyond that. It would become one giant vanity project.

This is exactly what happened to the Fast & Furious franchise btw.
He broke the family or really tried.
Once he got into the franchise, he wanted to make it all about himself, f*ck you!
And he GOT what he wanted, the first ever spin-off series with him co-leading with Jason Statham, now he wants to do the same thing with Black Adam.

Used to love the guy but i can't f*cking stand him anymore.

@Doomsday8888 - Hold up, I usually don't reply to these type of comments but are you serious!?! FF was limping before Rock came on board. The studio approached him about a spin off and they wanted to do it before another FF movie. And break up the family?.. Vin did that by being late and unprofessional. He's become a diva and of course the og FF cast would have his back thats their guy. And if you need another example of Vin even his director, who also helped bring the franchise back, also quit because of Vin. Vin can't even jump down some stairs without CG stuntman. If you don't like the Rock kool, but don't blame him for FF.

@CanIchangethis2 - Just posting facts my guy. You can not like DJ all you want but for Doomsday8888 to point the finger at Rock and not Vin is simply inaccurate. I'm a fan of both and watch all their movies but in this case Rock comes out on top. You can do your own research if you want and all roads lead to Vin being a diva. Rock might be over the top and even egotistical but from all reports from wrestling and into Hollywood he treats people with respect and is very professional. You can call it dickriding if you want but that doesn't change the truth.

@Steel86
My man, BOTH of them are divas, but when it comes to FF, Vin literally started it all, then comes Dwayne and he wants to make everything about himself, at least Vin has the decency you talk about family and he co-starred with Paul since day 1.

It's funny, because him and Hart being cast as the leads in this movie are the biggest reason I mostly ignored it. Don't think I ever even watched a trailer after the cast announcement.

A good friend of mine really wants to watch Black Adam with me, though, so I guess I'll contribute to its box office at least.
