INJUSTICE: Batman Interrogates The Joker (Right Before Superman Arrives) In Tense New Clip

A new clip from the Injustice animated movie has been released, and it highlights a tense meeting between Batman and The Joker before the Man of Steel arrives on the scene. You know what comes next!

In Injustice, an unthinkable tragedy propels Superman into a dangerous new mindset, ultimately pitting Justice League members against each other in what is clearly going to be a brutal, bloody movie if the recent red-band trailer is any indication! The feature-length animated film is set for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on October 19, and is based on the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game.

A new clip from the movie has been released today featuring a tense meeting between Batman (Anson Mount) and The Joker (Kevin Pollack). We won't give any spoilers away, but this clash obviously comes shortly after the iconic bad guy has unleashed his master plan on the DC Universe.

It's always fun to see what an actor brings to the role of The Joker, and Pollack seems to have been inspired by Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise the Clown from the IT movies. Mark Hamill's Clown Prince of Crime remains a favourite, of course, but this take on the villain definitely feels pretty unique.

At the end of the clip, Superman arrives to...well, if you've played the games and read the comic books, something tells us you'll probably know what comes next for the Harlequin of Hate!

Check back here a little later today for our interview with the movie's director, Matt Peters.

Don't love the character designs but then i suppose i never really loved them in the video game either. Feels over-designed to me.

@TheManWithoutFear - The costume designs are hideous in both Injustice Games. An improvement from 1 to 2, but still dreadful. Whoever took the creative lead on that has terrible taste.

@TheManWithoutFear - I agree. Injustice 2 was a slight improvement over the first, and some designs worked for me like Ivy and Bane, but the others, I wasn't feeling. It's like they got the MK team with their more fantasy-esque tendencies to work on DC.

Dude sounded more like Pennywise the Clown than anything I'd imagine the Joker to be.

@adamcawa - it's mark Hamill still, so it's still the same as always, sounded like mark to me - he does the same voice for evil, just look at skeletor in motu revelation.

@Gizmoduck - Joker is played by Kevin Pollak in this movie.

@Gizmoduck - Yea that’s not Mark Hamill… you should get your hearing checked.

@adamcawa - Oh jeez, I thought I read it was Hamill in this, well....sounds similar enough when he said the jokes on you, should have known from the laugh as Hamill has the raspiness to his joker laugh. My mistake.

@Gizmoduck - He has a lot of lines in the first 10 minutes; he gives a really uneven performance.
