She starred alongside everyone's (well, almost everyone’s) favorite teenage wizard, Daniel Radcliffe in the 2007 movie December Boys, and we’ve just heard from Moviehole that Victoria Hall has also been auditioning for a role in the new JL movie, the sole female role on the League, Wonder Woman.
Now whether she is in the running or not, is an entirely different question. That is not for us to know just yet, but the fact that she has tested is at least a sign she’s in consideration.
Dark Horizons have also confirmed that the shooting will commence in Sydney, Australia, mid February, and will run for around three to four months.
However as of now, the production is based out of Seattle, and casting is in full flight. If you’re up for a role in the movie, read the next paragraph carefully to see if you fit!
"We are looking for Male actors 18-35 years old; Caucasian and Black. The primary focus should be to find Caucasian actors. There is 1 role for the Black Actor. We are looking for Female actors 20-32 years old; any ethnicity."
The good news is that it looks as if we’re going to be treated to a Green Lantern in this movie. I say that because of the requirement for one Black Actor, most likely to play John Stewart, the third Green Lantern of the DC comics.
I could be off on that one, but the likelihood is high. I think that WB knows it would be a mistake not to cast a Green Lantern in a JL movie.
