JUSTICE LEAGUE's Jason Momoa Lends His Support To Co-Star With #IStandWithRayFisher Hashtag

Shortly after Ray Fisher returned to Twitter to call Warner Bros. out for attempting to undermine him, his Justice League co-star Jason Momoa made it clear the actor has his full support. Check it out...

Justice League star Ray Fisher once again took to Twitter yesterday evening to call out Warner Bros. for the way their investigation into how the movie's reshoots has been handled. It was at the beginning of July that the actor called out director Joss Whedon and producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg over their conduct on set, and we've since seen a continued back and forth between him and the studio.

The picture that's been painted of Fisher is that he's a disgruntled actor who butted heads with that trip over creative differences, but he continues to hint that it goes much deeper than that.

While other Justice League cast members have yet to speak up, Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, has taken to Instagram to make it clear that "#IStandWithRayFisher." However, he's yet to comment on whether he saw any of this alleged misconduct, and neither have other cast members.

For the time being, we're left to speculate on what could have happened on set with Fisher; it could be as dark as him being bullied or prejudiced against because of his race, or as simple as Whedon, Johns, and Berg creating a toxic work environment by openly attacking Zack Snyder's work.

We'll see, but you can check out Fisher's latest comments and Momoa's post below:

Okay, question was never if something really happened. It was

What happened?
And
Was is as bad as fisher is trying to make it seem

Right now seems like Fisher is blowing crap out of proportion, because Joss didnt want to take his notes on the script and Geoff didnt take his bitching

Ray

Seriously this may all come down to Joss Whedon not taking writing suggestions from a guy who has no authority to demand changes and Geoff John telling him about the new Cyborg.
Seriously people get told about stuff like that all the time, and usually they are supportive and happy about a new take. You know thats why so many former DC actors come back to cameo in shows. Also not like Fisher was fired during that phone call, for now he is still Cyborg.
Seriously What did Geoff Johns say to threaten his career. May have just been some advise, considering he wasn't following the chain of command and he was trying to make changes during filming, which was under a tight schedule. Like seriously how bad could it have been, did Johns say something like

If it doesn't even come 10% close to that then

for now Fisher is basically

Love using Whedon gifs in these situations, they work on so many levels. plus found a way to include all 4 of Joss's shows.

@dracula - You know what, let’s wait and see. But I still stand on the fact he is just handling this all wrong. Right now he’s coming across like a desperate hoe looking to get paid.

I remember when everyone was saying "why have all the cast stayed quiet on Joss?"

Well, there you go. Looking more likely now that Whedon at the very least must've been somewhat unprofessional on set.

@Nightwing1015 - I like Momoa, and I have since he was on Stargate, but I'm not sure I trust his judgement about stuff like this. Retweeting a hashtag out of personal loyalty or affection isn't quite up there with explicitly saying "I saw some shit, too".

If someone shrewd like Gadot comes out, then that will carry a lot more weight to me. But this still feels like it could be part of that same Snyder vs. Whedon turf war that Fisher and Momoa have been actively stoking for years.

@Nightwing1015 - he isnt saying that he saw any abuse. Just that he stands by ray. For all we know mamoa saw nothing but is just believing a friend. You wouldn't say that "oh well we have no evidence of a robbery but the friend of the accuser says he believes him so it must be true".

@Origame - Nah I don't think that's likely. If Ray's claim is "Joss was abusive and unprofessional on set" and Jason never saw any behaviour like that even though he was on set every day, I don't think he'd back Ray.

@Nightwing1015 - this is something from his private account reposted by fisher, not like he is actually saying anything. Also still dont know what happened, all we know is that something happened, which nobody ever questioned

@Spock0Clock - Yeah I guess we'll have to see if Jason goes into specifics also.

@Nightwing1015 - Jason Momoa taking a month to say the vaguest, most sanitized words of support for Ray Fisher is nowhere near an indication that Joss Whedon did anything, nor is it the kind of "speaking up" that people have been noting.

@Spock0Clock - I would trust Henry the most. I think he is the most careful and prudent. If he said something, I would definitely believe it.

@Nightwing1015 -
Please define unprofessional as it relates to being a director on a big budget Hollywood “blockbuster”
