Warner Bros. appears to be taking a wait and see approach to certain DC Films based on how well Justice League performs at the box office and among the movies without confirmed release dates are Flashpoint and Cyborg. The former is said to be nearing a green light and with everyone praising Ezra Miller's Flash, chances are it will happen sooner rather than later. Cyborg, however, is another matter.
Based on what little we know about the character in Justice League, he isn't one of the biggest highlights, so a solo outing is probably unlikely. However, the cast is optimistic about both of these.
Fisher: There’s a lot in development for sure. I think after people see Ezra’s performance they’ll be banging down the door for a Flash film.
Momoa: I giggled so much. It’s so fun to belly up and laugh when your friends are just killing it. Flash is amazing.
Miller: I think there’s going to be a huge demand for Cyborg’s film as well because of the emotional gravity this brings. It’s what we find in the Nolan Batman movies. Ray brings this level of artistry to this role that’s so exciting. Look, we never know anything. To be perfectly honest with you, they keep us in the dark.
It's been rumoured for a while now that Cyborg will have a key role in Flashpoint and that will no doubt remain the case. From the second it was "announced," fans have wondered what sort of story a solo outing for Victor Stone could tell and so we should probably just forget about it ever happening!
