POLL: What Did You Think Of MEN IN BLACK 3?

Men in Black 3 didn't quite hit the predicted $85M - £100M holiday weekend predicted by analysts, but it took back the North American box office from Marvel's The Avengers with an impressive $70M. What did YOU think of the threequel?

Men in Black 3 has been a success at the box office ($70M domestic; $203M globally) and a hit with fans and the majority of critics. Will Smith's first film in over four years saw him holding off competition from Earth's Mightiest Heroes and taking the #1 in just about every major territory. The holiday weekend meant you all must have had chance to flock to the theatre after it was released on Friday, so here is your chance to share your thoughts on the threequel after the franchise was missing from the big screen for a decade. Don't forget to check out my 4* review by clicking HERE and my exclusive interview with director Barry Sonnenfeld HERE.

It's decent. The first is still the best by far, but this is the second best. It finds more of its own identity whereas the second felt like a rehash. This one had the most emotional/touching scene of the trilogy too. However, the script isn't on par with the first one. J's lines in the first just felt natural and funny whereas a lot of these felt more forced.

@weneedrevelation, was that really pertinent? the article's headline specifically addresses people who have seen the movie, so what made you feel the need to click on it and chime with your impressions and desire to see something else after admitting that you haven't seen it?

Mediocre, nothing exciting or fresh, most of the jokes were old or done over many times. But fun in some spots

Agree with the other comments, it was ok, nothing special, until the end, which was a nice way to wrap it all together. You'll spend most of the movie waiting for that big laugh to come... and you'll leave the theatre wondering if you missed it. I did think Boris was appropriately menacing, but the film never made me believe the main cast was in danger. It will probably be at the bottom of the top 10 of the year, if that.

It's great. Great performances, nice additional characters in the form of Griffin (my favorite character from the whole movie) and Boris (a pretty weird villain, but Jemaine Clement delivered), exciting action scenes, and pretty funny in places. The visual stands out the most, while the plot's simple, yet entertaining enough. It has some holes (pretty significant ones, in fact), but well, it's still a fun watch. The ending makes up for the weaknesses, IMO; it's pretty predictable, but very well-executed I found it touching.

I have forgotten pretty much about the first movie, though, so I can't do a real comparison. However, I believe we can all agree that it's way better than the second entry.

I really liked it. It wasn't as good as the first one but was tons better than the second. It was the sequel we were waiting for.

entertaining but it felt rushed and short. By far the ending was what made the movie...up until that part I was easily and eagerly anticipating seeing Avengers again.

The poll doesn't have enough options, well none that reflect my feelings toward the film.

Might see it at the cheap theatre. Not really a big fan, since the first one never really left an impression on me. But that's me.
