After a little bit of a hiatus, we are back with the first of two segments this week. Look for a new one tomorrow morning! On a side note, if I had known Ragingbully was a Tampa Bay Bucs fan, I would have not written this article. (I am kidding, go Falcons!!!)

John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?

Ragingbully - Literally day one, my parents took me to see Superman for my first movie at the tender age of eight months. The first time I collected it was mid-early eighties with the Superman vs He-Man comic.

John Arturo - Your collection seems to focus on actual comics. How much room do your comics take up?

Ragingbully - More than my wife would like, but somethings got to offset her stupid Elvis tea spoon collection. It's not like hoarders, but I have plenty of plastic Wal-mart coffins filled with sets and singles and trade paper backs.

John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?

Ragingbully - Star Wars, Star Trek, and Yankees memorabilia. Specifically Micky Mantle. Oh and blood slides from my Miami area victims.

John Arturo - What are your favorite collectible companies?

Ragingbully - Sideshow. I love everything they pump out. Unfortunately I don't make nearly enough to support a Sideshow shopping spree.

John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?

Ragingbully - I love completing a set or adding to an already out of control collection like my superman statue figure collection. For years I've been looking for the Alex Ross Superman Forever statue. Last comic-con I found it for the right price and picked it up cause I deserve it.

John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?

Ragingbully - Look, I can scroll through page after page very quickly, and something just jumps out at me. I like all types of statues and figures, new or old, but it needs to stimulate me visually.

John Arturo - What does your significant other think of your collection?

Ragingbully - My wife hates it like poison. She looks at it and thinks of all the money I wasted on my junk. (her words) I'm afraid that one night she's gonna choke me to death in my sleep with my lightsaber.

John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?

Ragingbully - Empire Strikes Back. I really don't think people know what that movie means to people like us. It was the fist time in most of our lives that we watched a soap opera. Betrayal, incest, tauntauns, love, Luke looses a hand, Han in carbonite and I'm your father. Do you know what that does to a sweet little boy?

John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?

Ragingbully - My Superman 17. The ultimate hero holding by the neck the ultimate douchebag. I also love the way he was drawn back then. But I'm not hung up on thing like that. I like that era of Superman, but I also like Jim Lee's Superman. I would love for them to do an updated version with Bin Laden or what ever flavor of the month evil doer is in style.

John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?

Ragingbully - I'm so looking forward to getting the Jar Jar Binks in carbonite from SDCC. I know he's found a new cult following with his appearance in clone wars, but I still hope he dies in a fire. Maybe that's who Superman should be holding by the neck in one hand and George Lucas in the other.

John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?

Ragingbully - I check in on ComicBookMovie.com 10 times a day. I love the up to date news on nerd stuff. It's not just comic book movies they fill me in about, but news on almost all of my geeky interests. It is, no jive, my favorite website. I mean of course my adult sites are paramount but comicbookmovies is a close second.

P.S. Mr. Lucas do you think we're all stupid, we know Han shoots first. That's the kind of scoundrel he is, and that's why we like him.

If you have a collection (don't worry about the size, it could be 4-5 items and that is still a collection right?) and want me to showcase it on the site, then shoot me an email by clicking the "Contact Me" link here. I will shoot you a few questions to answer to go along with the images and once a week we will showcase a users collection on here.
