Scenario: Dr. Manhattan is aware of an alternate universe in which the desimation IT would result in the destruction of HIS. He crosses, Demensions, powers still intact to meet the cause of the disturbance, the Phoenix. She tells him it would be wise to get out of her way, that the humans would pay for what they did to Scott. After expressing how little he cares they inssue in combat.

dammit Sou, lol. Another one that I spent an hour commenting on. While Ostrman is omnipotent in many ways, like it or not folks he is still human. Examine some of the defining attributes of Manhattan and you will seee despite his tremendous power, he still maintains vestiges of his humanity. While Manhattan is God-like, the Pheanix is a God. Pheonix wins as long as the Jean Grey aspect doesn't interfere. But if Jean let go and allowed the Pheanix freedom, Manhattan would die as swiflty as anyone else.

If it's the movie version, then Jean Grey loses hands down. Her power wasn't near as vast as in the Dark Pheonix Saga. Now, if it's the comic versions, then there is an amazing fight. The Pheonix's powers were insurmountable and exceeded that of Galactus. Both can go into space and both have god-likepowers, but I'm gonna have to go with Dr. Manhatten. It'd be a close fight though.

and you especially dont read the phoenix saga

The phoenix is the most powerful being ever!
i have the marvel characters description and they pretty much said that whatever phoenix thinks of happens

and the funny thing is imagine you guys where comparing dark phoenix TO dr manhantten
dont get me wrong he strong and he one of the most powerful superheroes out there but he cannot compare to phoenix.... SHE WELLL MESS HIS MIND UP not only that she welll drain all his energy please doo some more research MARVEL FOR LIFE!!!

I would think that Doctor Manhattan would win. He could destroy the Jean and the Phoenix force would have to find a new host.

First of all i would like to make clear Galactus is the strongest Marvel charachter ever his powers are that of the cosmic and "the most awesome living entity in the cosmos his telepathy telekinesis and cosmics awereness where far greater then those of phoenix he was abel to resurrecting the dead also capable of creating sentient life restoring dead planets and populations in every detail and there is no where proven that dark phoenix is stronger it was just decided by a council that she was more of treat then galactus and thats all.why is that becuese she was on a crazy rampage to destroy all while Galactus just eats world to sustance his life so thats why she was a bigger treat The END

Manhatten is just a lab accident. Sure hes got some sweet abilities. But he simply cant match powers like phoenix's, odin's, or galactus's. We dont even know if his powers would work on beings like phoenix.
