Sorry about how late this came out, I have been very busy and I'm trying to get everything done as soon as I can. Anyway about the movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West with Seth Mcfarlane and Charlize Theron, oh ya and Liam Neeson pops up.

STORY:

Its a Seth Mcfarlane movie, theres not a huge amount of story, Seth's character is trying to win back his girlfriend and trying to prove he is a real man with the help of Charlize Theron's character. Eventually Liam Neeson comes into play and he is the most Badass Gunman of the West, providing Seth the chance to take care of him and prove he truly belongs, so its kind of a been there done that story, but what makes this different is the next catigory.

COMEDY:

This is where the movie will make or break for you, you're either a fan of Mcfarlanes comedy style or your not, and he doesn't hold back in this. I went in expecting an hour and a half episode of Family Guy style comedy, and thats exactly what I got, and it was damn good. I laughed really hard at some points and not so hard at others, its not always the best. In my opion TED was funnier, but don't get me wrong, if you are a fan of Mcfarlanes style, then you'll defintly have a good time and walk out very pleased.

CHARACTER:

Seth is the good guy, Charlize is the girl walking into his life, Neeson is the bad guy, its pretty straight forward, but its not boring, their comedy keeps it fresh throughout and the amount of secondary characters good, they are there to drive the plot but mostly to get laughs.

So with that how does it stack up? Well with movies like X-men, Godzilla and Spiderman being action packed and dramatic it was nice to go to something not so serious, it entertained and that was its job, I didn't think it was as good as TED and I only say that because thats the movie which this one will get compared to a lot for obvius reasons.

A Million Ways to Die in the West gets a

6/10

Don't be worried of this rank, it means its a good movie, funnier than some of the other things you get from Hollywood these days, but 6/10 is more like if your not planning on seeing it in theaters thats okay, but you should pick it up on DVD for a Movie night with friends once it is availble.

By describing it as a Hour and a Half long Fam Guy episode...do you mean modern Family Guy or Family Guy from 5 years ago when it wasnt just random shit?

It keeps a central plot and theres pnly once instance where theres something really random (that i can remember) but as long as u remember the movie kills off ppl left and right expect a lot of random deaths, and also ya the trailer showed a lot of the funny parts, only a few caught me off gaurd but i still managed to enjoy it, but like i said, you might as well wait for the dvd

Damn man, I saw this at the advanced screening and loved it. I was gonna write a review for this site, but then I would have probably gotten the "gftobrahdisisCOMICbookmovienptmoviesBLAH"comments

This was the biggest piece of shit I've ever seen. I absolutely love Family Guy and went in expecting many laughs but left with a couple chuckles.

3/10

Could've done with a proofread but otherwise solid review.
I may see it, I may not. It looks funny, but I don't think I'll be losing any sleep if I don't head off to the cinema.

When I first heard about this last year, my excitement was sky high. The first trailer did nothing but further hype me up. Unfortunately, by the looks of it the film squanders just about everything it has going for it. Regardless, nice review!

I actually heard it was not that good, people actually praised Ted when it was released but i saw the film in theatre and thought it was nothing special, i did not laugh at all and my friends kept asking if i was okay but i told them that i don't find any of these jokes funny which comes in to question "has comedy gone downhill?"

Watching comedies at a theatre always feels weird. I prefer putting my money towards watching action films

@staypuffed ya i was kinda rushing this have a lot on my plate right now but thank you.
@BJ @Mighty
Its not as good as ted and if you didnt like ted you wont like this film, the movie seemed a little rushed to me, but it entertained me. I went in expecting wat i saw, it didnt blo me away and didnt really surprised me either, one moment that was a nice little surprise was spoiled in a trailer for me, so it lost its magic, but thanks!

Family Guy is terrible. Seth McFarlane is terrible. I'm not surprised this is terrible.
