Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has an A-list of actors he’d like to be in his feature film adaptation of Frank Miller’s Sin City crime noir comic series.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis, Elijah Wood, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Kate Bosworth, Benecio del Toro, Mario Bello and Jaime King have all been mentioned as being on Rodriguez’ want list, according to Hollywood Reporter. Shooting begins shortly on the film that the trade describes as: “three intertwining vignettes revolving around a dark set of characters that call the fictional corrupt town home.”
