VIDEO: Yes, Mickey Rourke Still Hates Marvel Studios
Not that it matters at this point, but Iron Man 2 actor Mickey Rourke has expressed his distaste for Marvel Studios yet again, now while promoting Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Check it out after the jump!
Mickey Rourke has made it no secret that he's not a fan of Marvel Studios after his Iron Man 2 villain role as Ivan Vanko, aka Whiplash... or Crimson Dynamo, somehow became "one-dimensional" during the editing process. In fact, the veteran actor has even said director Jon Favreau didn't have any balls, when it came to the finished product, which received mixed reviews, and how a lot of his scenes were cut possibly due to all the Avengers build-up. Well, Rourke recently stopped by NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers show where he promoted the upcoming Sin City: A Dame To Kill For and, quite briefly, further expressed his hatred for Marvel Studios. The bashing began when the host suggested the actor had said he wasn't a comic book fan, to which Mickey corrected, "I'm not a Marvel fan." But is he a DC guy? "I don't know what that means," Rourke admitted, laughing. "I'm a Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller fan," he clarified, as for what made him join Sin City. "Once I did a movie for Marvel and they cut the whole f#cking thing out." What do you think?
