RED is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive. Also in the cast are Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon.

RED is set to be released in cinemas on October 15 later this year!

Thanks LEE! :) Yeah, the trailer/clips look great but so did the ones for The Losers (which was really average IMO) so I'll be waiting for the reviews before I decide whether or not I'll check it out at the cinema! The brilliant cast alone might just convince me to go see it though...

@ joshw

keep up the good work.

it looks alright,i'd watch it just to see helen mirran f*cking shit up with a massive machine gun.

but i'd rather dc entertainment would stop making movies like this the losers & jonah hex.

& put more effort into getting the flash & wonder woman on the big screen.

@Josh: Hey, cool clip. BTW, it's "RED" not "Red"; they changed it to an acronym for the movie: "Retired Extremely Dangerous."

I'll be back contributing again soon. I've been on a month-long vacation down in Brazil.

LEE/deadpool: I agree guys - I honestly have no idea why they focus on these sorts of movies (not that I'm complaining when they look as good as this) when they could be making the likes of the films that you mention! Oh well, I guess we'll see them eventually! Green Lantern is a good start after all!

Brent: Huh, I honestly had no idea about that! Thanks for the heads up though - I'll change it now! Are you still down in Brazil or have only you only just got back? Either way, hope you had/have a great time and I look forward to seeing you back on CBM on a more permanent basis! :)

haha, looks great I think. Helen Mirren is the Queen..of the world!

Was I the only one that thought The Losers was ok? I mean it wasn't good, but it was better than similar stuff like A-Team or The Expendables.

Brent, Brazil is amazing isn't it? Did you happen to get to an island called Morro De Sao Paolo?

[frick] Yeah! Helen is the coolest woman ever! Quality actor with a mean trigger happy finger! I'm sure this will do much better than Losers especially with a cast and story like that.

@Oscuro
How are compliments indicating that we are perverts. I did not see any comments saying "Damn she is [frick]ing Hot" or "I'd do her despite her age." or "She is hot for an old woman.".....
I was just saying she is a quality actor and seeing her in role like this is really awesome. I have never seen her kick ass so it is time I do....

@Ror
You are not alone bro. I thought Losers was ok compared to Ass Team and The Wastetables.

@ckal
I think DC will only do more movies on other superheroes if Green Lantern is a success if it isn't then it's going to remain Batman and maybe Superman.

JoshW
It should be remembered these movies were made before the DCE reformation I don't know if these movies would be made now.

This definitely looks better then the graphic novel.

This quick clip looked better than the actual trailer.

I don't see why you guys are complaining about movies like RED, Jonah Hex, and the Losers. I think there is room in the movie theater for the big and the smaller properties. I mean why can't we have both, as long as DC takes care of the bigger properties I'm happy!(:

What are you talking about golden123? If a movie sucks it sucks, e.g., Jonah Hex.

Yeah, wards that part I enjoyed the rest of the trailer looked pretty bad to me. Honestly I'll end up waiting for the rental.

And it's not black, it's brown and it's delicious :D

This movie is awesome, I saw it a few weeks ago. I was expecting Helen Mirren to be the stand out, but John Malkovich's character stole the show. His character is like a cross between Walter Bishop from Fringe, and Michael Westin from Burn Notice. Hilarious.

It is a great movie, I was worried it would be another Surrogates, but it totally blew me away. It was actually the first prescreening I've been to that I actually enjoyed.
