STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN Promo Art Features IG-11 And The Titular Bounty Hunter

It's been a while since we've seen anything from The Mandalorian, but some promo art has found its way online, giving us new looks at the character designs for IG-11 and the mysterious Mandalorian himself.

Some new promo art for The Mandalorian has been shared online via Making Star Wars, and it gives us another look at the awesome character designs for IG-11 and the mysterious bounty hunter of the title.

The recent SWCC panel for the first ever live-action Star Wars TV series revealed a lot more about the show and its characters, including the fact that the familiar looking droid everyone assumed to be IG-88 was actually a different Assassin-Bot altogether!

We still know very little about The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) himself, but the leaked footage did confirm the obvious: he's quite the badass.

Check out the promo art below along with some previously released stills and concept art, and let us know what you think. The Mandalorian is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 19.

Feels more and more the original plan was for Boba and IG88...until SOLO BOMB and they wanted to have “New” Characters but familiar character designs for the nostalgic hook.

@IronGenesis - Yep, this is probably in lieu of the "Boba Fett" movie Josh Trank was going to do a few years back.

This looks like an elaborate fan film to me and yet will probably be better than "The Rehash of Skywalker" IMO.

Wonder if IG stands for "Interstellar Geek"? I could imagine Taika doing great things with such a character.

Sucks that Disney+ only will be available next year in March here in Europe. Guess i finally found a good reason to join a VPN service.

This is the most interesting thing to happen in this franchise in the last 3 decades.

As someone who quite liked TLJ, I must say, this is the Star Wars content I'm most excited about this year.

So the literal opposite of Boba Fett.

This will probably end up being the best Star Wars related thing this year.

Better than Star Wars 9 and that video game, whatever that's called I can't remember.

So, what was wrong with just using IG-88? What made him a badass was that he was a rogue assassin droid. I guess they have some serious programming problems in this galaxy far, far away if it happened again.

@inkniron - Maybe they are using the Legends fate in the new Canon. When IG-88 uploaded his consciousness and became the second Death Star just before the Rebels blew it up.

Off-topic: to anybody who's seen Far From Home... you know who the villain has to be in the next one, right?
