IGN has interviewed Gareth Edwards; director of
Monsters and director of Legendary Pictures' upcoming Godzilla movie. Sadly, the director doesn't reveal much outside his feelings toward the character, his legacy and mentioning that his favorite film with the monster is the original
Godzilla. That said, the director has mostly been silent since landing the directing position and this does finally grant some insight into his thoughts.
The film will come out next year.
