Benedict Cumberbatch Says "No Offer Has Been Made" For STAR WARS EPISODE VII
While many doubted the word of a rep for the British actor (after all, how many times have we heard THAT?), Benedict Cumberbatch himself has now addressed recent reports that he is the first major casting addition to J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII. It's bad news Sherlock fans...
Well, it was a nice thought while it lasted! Like many of you, I didn't totally buy those denials from Benedict Cumberbatch's reps, but we now have word straight from the horse's mouth (and no, that isn't some sort of pun in regards to his role in War Horse). If Cumberbatch has been offered a role in the movie, he's not going to come straight out and admit it! For now, we're just going to have to wait and see. Just think back to all those 'Khan' denials...
