EA Announces A $50 Season Pass For STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT

If people were mad at the Batman: Arkham Knight season pass, just wait till you hear what EA has planned for Star Wars: Battlefront. A $50 season pass for a game that's $60. So $110 to completely play the game. What a great deal, don't you all agree?

EA & DICE's Star Wars: Battlefront hasn't done much to win gamers over. From EA/DICE not including a single player campaign to no maps based off the Star Wars Prequels to no space battles. Today EA/DICE announced the Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass. As usually with announcements for Season Passes, we get to learn one new content in it that's in the Season Pass along with vague description of what else is in the Season Pass. EA/DICE state: Expand your galaxy with the Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Season Pass. Get 4 upcoming expansion packs filled with new content, two-week early access to each expansion and an exclusive “Shoot First” emote. Stay tuned for more details on Season Pass in the coming weeks. So what are your negative feelings on a Season Pass that will cost you just as much as the game? Angry? Rage? Madness? Sadness? Please state your negative feelings in the comment section below. They better include a full single player campaign so I can play as Luke and Darth 24/7.

Also make a Force Unleashed 3 for ps4 and Xbox one. Battlefront isn't quenching this thirst for Star Wars.

@manhunter212 Are you saying you want the DLC to include single player? No, that's ridiculous. Single player should be on the disc, no one should be paying extra for that.

Season pass DLC is fine. It's for idiots who need to be first amongst their small circle of friends who need to own and play it first for no actual reason. Just like every game, there will be another release soon after launch labeled Ultimate edition or whatever and it'll have the same DLC that the season pass had for a cheaper price than $110. But everyone will fall for the need to own it immediately and nothing in the gaming industry will change.

But just because you don't enjoy parts of what you heard about it, might as well use a journalistic article to talk shit on it because ???? Also, this season pass looks like a decent deal. I'm not condoning the practice and [frick] EA, but 4 DLC packs that would probably be $20 each at this point all for $50 really isn't that bad. I won't be getting it, but for those who just can't wait for the special edition release with the DLC, it makes sense.

Such an absurd price for not enough content. The only way this will stop is if completest such as myself stop buying this stuff. Unfortunately, I will be buying it because I am a completest. Bummer...

I also wasn't aware that there wasn't going to be a single player campaign. Again, I'm still getting the game, but come on, DICE! You can't be serious.
