If you were hoping this month's issue of Empire Magazine would feature an upcoming release like Avengers: Infinity War or Solo: A Star Wars Story, then it looks like you'll be sorely disappointed. While it's possible that we'll see something from those, the focus will instead be on the "Greatest Movie Villains Ever" and it's Darth Vader who takes the spotlight on the magazine's special subscriber cover.

The iconic bad guy has been illustrated by Pete Ware, a.k.a. 17th & Oak. It's a great piece of imagery and one which is definitely wallpaper worthy. The question is, of course, will Vader be ranked at #1?

We'll have to wait and see on that front but the publication has promised to reveal more about what we should expect from the issue in the coming days, so fingers crossed we'll get to see some cool new exclusives. Who is your favourite big screen baddie? As always, let us know your thoughts down below.

@Jackal - Yeap. Doesn't manage to be worse than the prequels. But it's almost there.

Actually I'm thinking if it's not worse than Revenge of The Sith.

Pity they chose that godawful line from Rogue One.

@JakeofAllTrades - BUT HE MADE A PUN

puns suck. People force them everywhere and then feel SO [frick]ING CLEVER afterwards. People respond and say “omg this is the funniest thing I have ever heard”. Reddit upvotes it 6,000 times, and everyone replies with their own god awful puns.

Someone just forced a word to have multiple meanings! It’s barely humorous. It’s more like, “look at this neat thing I did”.

Favorite Baddies. Hmmmm

Hannibal Lecter
The Shark
The Joker
Darth Vader
The Wicked Witch

When we narrow it down to which one had a psychological effect on me growing up it gets cut to

The Shark
The Wicked Witch

And then when applying that The Shark actually effected me more beyond just the film...

THE SHARK!

So goofy looking, looks like some costume designer from the seventies made the suit. And I love it.
