TERMINATOR: GENESIS - Sarah Connor & Kyle Reese Take Aim At The Police

The Daily Mail has gotten their hands on even more Terminator: Genesis set photos. Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney's stunt-doubles were seen in the back of a moving S.W.A.T. vehicle with guns pointed at 1980's police car.

The Daily Mail has posted some more Terminator: Genesis set photos. Filming for the fifth Terminator film is currently taking place in New Orleans and last night stunt-doubles for Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney, who play Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, were spotted holding guns in the back of a moving S.W.A.T. vehicle. They both were packing heat, and had those guns pointed at a 1984 police cruiser that was hot on their trail. Seems safe to assume that the cop following them was a Terminator, but which one? Also of note: Sarah Connor is wearing a leather jacket that looks a lot like the one Arnold wore in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Below, you will find a poorly photoshopped recreation of the set photos. If you'd like to see the real thing click on the image below.
Terminator: Genesis - Is being directed by Alan Taylor ("Thor: The Dark World"), based off of a screenplay by Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis. The films stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as an older Terminator, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. The cast also includes: J.K. Simmons ("Spider-Man"), Dayo Okeniyi ("Hunger Games"), Byung Hun Lee ("G.I. Joe: Retaliation") and Matt Smith ("Dr. Who"). It will land in theaters July 1, 2015 release.

I am REALLY confused with this film, so is this going to do an x-men and say the first film isnt canon, unless this is based after the first and before the second, which would be stupid, I dont even like the fact this is back in the past, I was finished with the present day arc and wanted a trilogy in the future, oh well

This movie will probably be better than I expect it to be. Which isn't saying a lot since I'm expecting it to suck ass. I'm tired of Arnold as the T-800 and their reasons for the machine aging doesnt make any sense. You need a human nervous system and organs to age. Not a robot with human skin. Also, having John, Kyle, AND Sarah in the same movie just sound like they're going to convolute the plot and create more paradoxes than the originals ever did. And that's saying something.

Say what you want about Salvation, but at least McG took the franchise in the direction that the original trilogy had been alluding to the entire time, and at the same time, tried something new with the world Cameron created. I always thought it worked perfectly as a prequel to the first film, and had they continued with the trilogy, the second could of preluded Judgement Day, and the third could of preluded the shitty Rise movie. Instead, we're going to get a convoluted rehashing of the original trilogy. My expectations are set very low for this.

@TheRationalOne, Thank you for living up to your name. I'm baffled by the direction they're taking this. It seems completely idiotic. I feel like any real Terminator fan could come up with a better idea for how to handle this franchise than the people in control of it. Actually, I'd think any person who doesn't even like the series but reads a synopsis for the first 3 movies could figure out where it would sensibly go in a second trilogy.

Old T-800 it's a stupid idea. We'll see how it will work.

I won't be surprised if this turns out to be the best Terminator movie since T2. The studio knows it can't bank on the Terminator name alone, it has to deliver if it wants to make money. A lot is riding on this, I doubt they would green light trash at this point.

I would prefer the next one (make no mistake - there will be another) to be entirely join Connor in the future vs an army of terminators

Lol! You know, the actual set pics don't look too bad. It definitely looks like a Terminator movie.

I'm still not sold on Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. Emilia Clarke actually looks like a younger Linda Hamilton though. She's a good actor too, which I can't say the same for Jai Courtney.

Why can't this film just have the same problem's that Ant-Man is having.

I was watching Terminator 2 last night and i just realized that Emilia Clarke could never live up too Linda Hamilton's portrayal of Sarah Connor. The same goes for Jai Courtney playing Kyle Reese. I actually believe that this Terminator film will never live up too Terminator 2.

The only people that are hyped about this are Game of Throne's fan's and not Terminator fan's.

@TheRationalOne, You speak the truth.

I love Arnold and i'm a huge Arnold fan but it's sad to see him tied to what will be a terrible and un necessary film.

Why not just have a film focused on the war, have John Connor defeat Skynet and then end it there. Simple.
