TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Qora (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

JoshW: Well, I saw a trailer for the movie today (in 3D) and to be honest, it was far from impressive and nowhere near as good as Avatar visually. Of course, that was just a trailer so the final product could, and in fact should, be much better! Are you looking forward to Tron: Legacy? Share your thoughts in the usual place!

Tron: Legacy is set to be released on 17th December!

I've SO got high hopes for this flick, if for no other reason than to revisit the wonder I had as a child, parked butt in front of the TV, bucket of popcorn in hand...

The movie does look pretty good but as I've said above, the 3D effects really dont if they're anything like in the trailer. The trailer for Avatar: Special Edition was on right after and it looked 100x more impressive. :P

I'd like to boycott JoshW for his grammer in articles, or lack there of. You do not spell the word favorite like this = favourite. It is spelled favorite and always has been. Not to mention some other random words.

Tron looks great though so stfu Josh

if you're going to be a good journalist, at least proof read your work before submitting it

LaffaTaffa: Wow, congratulations on showing your ignorance. I live in Britain and we spell the word "favorite" with a "u". The same goes for "rumor" for example. Get your facts right next time idiot but feel free to boycott my articles in future. The less trolls on CBM, the better, as far as I'm concerned.

I didn't know they were making a Micronauts movie, directed by JJ Abrams. Does anyone know anymore about it?

LaffaTaffa: wtf man, did you know that USA is not the only country on the planet?

As for Tron Legacy, I haven't made up my mind yet. I guess it looks okay, but nothing too fantastic. They keep showing posters with this cycle scene, starts to get irritating, now all the posters are starting to look the same.

If they keep putting so much emphasis on the cycle scene, then it better be the best damn scene in the movie

This movie looks great. I'm embarrassed that I've not seen the original. Oh, and @LaffaTaffa... it's spelled G-R-A-M-M-A-R. Not grammer.

I bet Laffy Taffy feels dumb lol. Thanks for the clarification though JoshW, I myself, did not know you guys like to add certain letters to certain words. I learned something today lol. I also noticed that British folk like to say 'brilliant' in a sentence it doesn't seem right in. For example, "Brittney Murphy was brilliant in that film". It sounds like people are saying she's a genius lol, when really, they mean 'good'. It's a strange slang I'm trying to figure out where that translation came from. Kind of like America when we say something is "sick" being cool or badass. Makes no sense really lol.

@ JoshW I am not a TROLL. I don't care that you are british and spell certain words wrong. If you're going to be a journalist on an American website, you should probably use the American English instead of British, for sake of people who wouldn't understand the difference between the two english languages. Hell at least you're not typing in ebonix which was just recognized for some reason as another English language in the American culture. I am an English major, that is why I said what I did. I am not really going to boycott your articles. To prove my point on the matter, if I posted an article completely in Italian(because I can read and speak it), I doubt anyone would read it because they probably wouldn't know how and everyone would think why was this published. I am just stating that you should consider that the majority of the readers on here are Americans and if they have an English vocab at the 3rd grade level or above then they would know that you're spelling it wrong(in your case right).

@ Chad I'll bet you feel dumb when people laugh at you with that retarded hair cut. I find it dumb when I see typo's on articles and incorrect use of words in sentences.

At the risk of feeding a Troll, I have a few corrections to note.

In LT's last rant:
1. British should be capitalized every time you use it.
2. English should also be capitalized every time you use it.
3. Ebonics is spelled incorrectly (and should be capitalized).
4. There is no reason for typos to have an apostrophe in it.
5. In the sentence, "I am an English major, which" (not that).
6. The whole "Italian" sentence is a big run-on mess and you should have included quotation marks in the last part, indicating what people are thinking.

I'm not even an English Major, but I did take it in high school. I just hope you never teach at my children's school.

Also, the Tron poster looks very cool. I'm excited for this movie. Nice find JoshW.

LaffaTaffa: You can hardly compare the British version of English to a foreign language like Italian. And although this site may be based in America, it's far from an "American website" because there just as many regular users from the UK, and other various countries, as there are from the US. You asking me to use American grammar is perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The fact I don't spell "colour" without a "u" really bothers you that much? I guess you're one of those people who think your country is the only one in the world. It's not. CBM is an international site and there's no way I'm going to start changing the way I spell words just to suit one person. You're an English major...would you go against what you've been taught and start spelling thing incorrectly? No, I didn't think so. And your comment really doesn't prove your point...you just sound like an idiot I'm afraid.

JoshWilding - 8/26/2010, 5:55 AM
Oh, and thanks for the (hilarious) support on this guys! :)

Chad Vital: Ha,I had no idea about the word "brilliant" meaning something else to you guys but then again "sick" is a good example from our side as well because if someone said, "Iron Man 2 was sick man!" I'd think they meant disgusting, lol! Another example is the word "whilst". I recently had an email from someone telling me that it's not a real word and should be "while". Well, in the UK we use both of them! Our two countries may be similar in some ways, but it's the smallest things that make the biggest differences I guess!

@Gusto What do you mean sucknicity?? The first one was great! Disney's collaboration with live action in a film about computers which was a recent invention at the time? I loved it, even watching it for the first time this year. Unless you're talking about the 'sucknicity' of the visual effects because be real, it was 1982.

@ josh... lol yeah bro sounds like this laffy taffy or whatever kid has something stuck up his arse. Probably still thinks the world is flat, and I'm from canada and we basically spell the same like the brits with favourite and colour and all that nonsense its just force of habit from school. K laffy you jive turkey and nice burn psychojester lol cheers

so it took LaffaTaffa five hours to come up with his witty little response, which he then used to show us just how awful his own grammar is... someone deserves a facepalm, douchebag.

btw, not that it matters to anyone, but i am an australian living in america, so it also pisses me off to see this close minded shit from assholes like him.

and now i think everyone has forgotten about the actual poster, from setting this loser in his place.

keep at it josh
