Peter David will be adapting the original Tron film in an upcoming Marvel Comics limited series.

Following the announcement of Marvel's November's upcoming releases, it has been confirmed that the title will be written by David with art from Mirco Pierfederici, along with cover art by former Thor penciller Olivier Coipel.

The adaptation is being published to tie in with the release of the original movie's sequel Tron: Legacy.

Marvel has revealed that the retelling will be the first in a number of Tron projects the company has leading up to the release of the sequel.

Tron: Original Movie Adaptation #1 is set to be published in November.
