It's good he hasn't lost interest in director silver surfer. I really think those two would make a great couple.

I want this and Nova to be the next big franchises.

Well with the Fantastic Four on their way I have to imagine Silver Surfer isn’t very far behind.

Silver Surfer is one my absolute favourites, and interestingly Stan Lee's favourite too.

I would be very invested in a solo film for the sentinel of the spaceways, but it has to be done right. He's a tragic figure. It has to be about loneliness and isolation. About not feeling at home in your own home and then leaving it, only to find that you have no home anywhere. Alone in the galaxy. And a hero.

Comedy has no place in the character of Norin Rad.

He’s a hit and miss director but when he hits he knocks it out of the park. The Big Short was fantastic.

I like Silver Surfer alright and whatnot, but a whole movie dedicated to Norrin Radd sacrificing himself and becoming the Herald of Galactus...feels more like a 5-7 min exposition in the middle of a movie than a feature length film.

@inkniron - I hope they do this justice. You'll be in for a real treat. In a perfect world, Bryan K. Vaughn would write the script, and I'd give that Nando vs Movies kid the chance to edit. Throw Ron Howard in to direct, and watch the world fall in love with an updated ET.

@tripttwe - The Marvel roster is so vast and to me personally, he works best as a supporting character. F4, Defenders, Infinity Watch are where he really shines. Can't pit him v Thanos anymore. Bouncing him around team ups is fine for me but solos have better candidates for the MCU to use their resources on, IMO.

@inkniron - Guardian ofthe Galaxy meets detective comics? No? Intergalatic Quantum Leap? No? Twilight Zone meets Walker Texas Ranger? This character has so many windows of exploration. The possibilities are endless. Give me flashbacks of Zenn La to flesh out his character when needed, and I'm all in.

@BlackBeltJones - yes!!

Gosling’s brilliant subtle and robotic facial expressions, would translate amazingly to SS. Apart from Tom Hardy, Gosling is another actor that can hold you fixed to the screen with little to no dialogue.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Exactly. His performance in BR2049 is evidence of this
