Apart from Sin City director Robert Rodriguez's comments back in March that a script was on the way for a sequel to the 2005 movie, there's still been no official word about whether the movie is actually going to happen. However, MTV recently caught up with Mickey Rourke who played Marv in the first movie to see what he had to say about the chances of whether we'll ever see Sin City 2!

"If it happens, you know...they've got to all get their shit together," Rourke said when asked if he'd distanced himself from the project.

When he was asked about his recent comment that he'd only do the movie if "Robert Rodriguez's wife" wasn't involved, the actor was quick to state: "She was a pain in the ass, that's all I'm going to say."

*ex-wife* they got divorced in 08, as He has since been engaged to Rose McGowan.

she is still a producer with all of Rodriguez' movies, like the upcoming machete and Predators, so she'll likely be involved

What's the likelihood of this actually coming together? They've been talking about this since late '05. There have been 2 Iron Man and 2 Batman movies since it's release, I bet we get a third for each before this has a script.

The iron-man 2 race track fight reminded me of sin city when he hand cuffed homeboy and punched him in the face

I have been a Carla Gugino fan for years (I even liked her in "Son In Law"). I wolud love to see MORE of her in SIN CITY II. She just keeps on getting better and better. She was awesome in Watchmen.

Nice article BTW Josh. Rourke is awesome as well if he doesn't come back and reprise his role as Marv it won't be nearly as good.
