There's been a lot of speculation about what Tom Holland meant when he Tweeted out "Monday morning..." yesterday, and it now appears as if something new from
Spider-Man: Far From Home is indeed on the way. As you can see below, Sony Pictures in China has seemingly confirmed that the actor's social media post is related to the wall-crawler.
While this is more than likely a trailer (it would coincide with when the second
Spider-Man: Homecoming sneak peek was released online), there's a chance it will end up being character posters or something similar so we'll obviously have to wait and see for now.
However, Sony no doubt wants a new
Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer playing in theaters in front of
Shazam! and/or
Avengers: Endgame, and releasing it now makes a lot more sense than waiting until later in April when it will be eclipsed by the release of the Marvel Studios superhero ensemble.
Whatever the case may be, we don't have long to wait and the fact Sony shared this Tweet arguably debunks theories that Holland was referring to his Lionsgate movie
Chaos Walking...unless China has the wrong end of the stick, of course. Stay tuned for further updates.
