Sony has released a fun prank video showing Spider-Man: Homecoming's wall-crawler dropping in on unsuspected cafe customers while a spectacular final poster for the movie has also debuted...
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters in a little over a week's time and Sony is really giving the reboot one final big marketing push. Analysts already believe it will debut in North America with upwards of $100 million so it being a hit seems like a guarantee at this stage but we now have a fun prank video along with a poster which definitely redeems that eyesore of an IMAX one-sheet!
We actually saw a lower-res version of this poster at the Spider-Man: Homecoming junket but it's good to have what is being touted as the "final" poster (and it's had a few) for the reboot in a higher quality.
As for the prank video, it features Spidey dropping in on unsuspecting Starbucks customers and giving them quite the shock as they order their coffees! Stan "The Man" Lee also makes a cameo appearance, though it's not clear if that's footage lifted from Spider-Man: Homecoming. If so, you may want to avoid watching right until the end as it will spoil his surprise appearance in the highly anticipated movie.
