New SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Trailer May Be Coming Sooner Than Expected

Most of us expected the next Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer to be attached to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but it appears as if it could be online much sooner than we originally expected!

If you're a wrestling fan, you'll know that this is WrestleMania week (you'll also want to check out our sister site The Ring Report). However, it just so happens that CinemaCon is taking place in Las Vegas and things kick off tonight with Sony Pictures' presentation at 6.30pm PT/2.30am UK.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is expected to be a big part of that and @TrailerTrack believes that it could be released shortly after the panel concludes. This makes sense for a number of reasons; Tom Holland has teased on Instagram that a new trailer is on the way, while it's become common in recent years for studios to release previews shown at this event online almost immediately.

This would also explain why a series of posters have been released over the past few days along with interviews featuring new details about the highly anticipated reboot set in the MCU.

We'll just have to wait and see, of course, but whatever happens, expect a new look at Spider-Man: Homecoming soon. What do you guys expect to see in the next sneak peek? More Iron Man is a given...

@Doomsday8888 - Grace Randolph (Beyond the trailer) mentioned this and it hard not to see it. But with the lack of "Spiderman Homecoming" text he friend confused Spiderman in the poster with Deadpool. The pose + the wearing a jacket at a glance does make me think of Deadpool.

Obviously I dont think it will will have a negative effect on the success of the two films; but they will have to be careful since they do look similar in appearance especially to casual movie goers.

@KWilly - The Airport Fight against Ant man actually already did that for me.

But I think this boat scene could top both

@IronMandarin - the entire airport scene, just 17 minutes of pure comic book come to life.

This scene has it's work cut out, but cant wait to see it.

@IronMandarin - I dont really read the spiderman comics (I only see him in large comic events) but how strong is he supposed to be.

To myself, him being able to hold 2 halves of a ship together seems a bit too strong. Especially, since he must (atleast in the MCU) have a similar strength levels to Cap, who fought him equally in the airport scene. From Cap we know his strength level prevents him from stoping the helicopter going off.

Again, spiderman is older, perhaps his strength increased.

@StormXmen123 - From my history of reading and those handy collectible trading cards from the 90's, Spider-man's strength should allow him to lift from about 10 to 25 tons (instances vary) over his head. This should allow him to out-class Cap pretty easily but in the fight depicted in Civil War you have two individuals who know the value of a measured response in combat.

@KWilly - This looks way over the top for it to be memorable.
