Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse continues to rack up awards and accolades, and the signs are all pointing to this animated adventure winning the big one at the Oscars ("Best Animated Picture" not "Best Picture," sadly). It also passed $300 million at the worldwide box office this weekend.

Now, some more astonishing concept art from the movie has been officially released and this batch puts the spotlight on Peter Parker, Wilson and Vanessa Fisk, Prowler, Spider-42, and some amazing keyframes.

The cool thing about this artwork is that it offers a much closer look at certain details on the costumes, a lot of which you may have missed while watching Into the Spider-Verse in
theaters. The work that went into dreaming up this animated "Spider-Verse" is incredible and it will be very interesting to see how Sony tries to top it in the already announced sequel.

We'll have to wait and see on that front but to check out this artwork, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button below!

Spider-Man

The Peter Parker we meet at the start of the movie is pretty much the "perfect" version of the superhero; he's famous, beloved, and can seemingly do no wrong. He's also voiced by Chris Pine!

As Spider-Man suits go, this is very comic book accurate and the colours really pop off the screen. It was actually added to the Spider-Man video game recently and looks amazing there too.

Wilson And Vanessa Fisk

This take on Wilson Fisk is certainly unique and he makes for a physically imposing presence from start to finish in this movie, especially when he trades blows with the wall-crawler.

This universe's version of Vanessa Fisk died with her son in a car accident and it's that while leads the Kingpin of Crime to do everything within his power to bring them back to him.

Prowler

From a visual standpoint, Prowler looks incredible in the movie and his storyline is a memorable one. His gauntlets are particularly cool and it's a real shame we won't get to see him in the sequel.

Spider "42"

As you'll no doubt be well aware, this is the spider that bites Miles Morales and gives him his spectacular new abilities. Just like in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic books, it's named "Spider-42."

Some Spectacular Keyframes

These quirky keyframes show Spider-Man in a number of scenarios and provide some insight into how the heroic Peter Parker's adventures on Miles Morales' Earth were dreamed up here.

Many thanks to Yashar Kassai for this amazing artwork! Check back here tomorrow for part two.

The fight inside Aunt May's house is absolutely one of the best CBM fights to date

@OmegaDaGrodd - I love the shot of Aunt May watching her house getting destroyed & Spider-Ham just taking a dish breaking it over his head & then May taking a bat to Tombstone knocking him out lol

everything about this film is beyond epic . i think is only lacked in main villain and it's understandable per the amount of characters invested . top 2 of 2018 for me

Just saw it and it was really good. Definitely the best Spider-Man movie since 2.

*SPOILER*
I think there was one tiny missed opportunity at the end. When Peter knocks on MJ's door, I wish his (re)pick-up line was "You just hit the jackpot". Corny, but that's Peter for ya.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - When Miles is hearing all the motivational lines from throughout the film, during the What's Up Danger section; I wish they'd played Stan Lee's "the mask always fits, eventually" line.

I also would prefer if the "leap of faith" line didn't mention it being a leap of faith. Miles being like "How will I know when I'm Spider-Man" and Peter being like "You won't" seems better to me. It's less literal and spelling-it-out and also makes a bit more sense because, in the scene in which he actually says it, they're basically giving up on Miles.

@Nebula - Yeah I thought the same thing with the Stan Lee line.

"You won't" would have been great too. So many tiny little changes that works have made it perfect.

Awesome movie - hated Kingpins look and voice. Reminded me of a Mafia Despicable Me.

But other than that nitpick... a very well done film.

I think this is quite simply the most unique looking movie ever made. The animation and art style is outstanding!

It's also a massive bonus that the story is brilliant and the voice acting is spot on. My favourite movie of 2018 hands down.
