In recent days, there have been rumblings that Spider-Man 3 has begun shooting in New York City, with Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Zendaya (MJ), and Jacob Batalon (Ned) all spotted on set.
According to Murphy's Multiverse, the Executive Marketing Director of Sony Pictures Entertainment in Brazil, Camila Pacheco, recently appeared at ExpoCine and provided a big update on the Marvel Studios threequel. She confirmed that cameras are now rolling on Spider-Man 3, and that the web-slinger's next adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is sticking to its December 2021 release.
Here's where things get really interesting, though; it's said that Pacheco revealed that a first look at the movie is coming this December, and the words "preview" and "teaser trailer" were used.
It's definitely feasible that enough footage will have been shot by the end of the year for a first look of some sort to be revealed, though it could be something of a scramble to get it done. Then again, if Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have been working on the visual effects side of things for a while, then a fair bit of work on Spider-Man 3 may already be done and ready to share with fans.
Time will tell whether this pans out, but we might be heading into the live-action "Spider-Verse" sooner than expected. Could this preview will be attached to Wonder Woman 1984?
