VIDEO: Tom Holland Visits Children's Hospital As SPIDER-MAN; Gets Told That BATMAN Is Better

Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland recently visited a children's hospital in costume as the wall-crawler, but he got a rude awakening when one youngster explained why he prefers The Dark Knight.

Tom Holland has only been seen as Spider-Man for a few minutes in Captain America: Civil War, but he's already doing a lot of good as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's wall-crawler. In his latest visit to a children's hospital, co-star Zendaya (who recently once again denied being Mary Jane) caught everything on camera, but the actor got a surprise when he leaned that the youngster prefers Batman!

It's a funny video, and really emphasises how much good Holland is doing after taking on this role. After that sneak peek earlier this year, we'll get to see him in action when Spider-Man: Homecoming is released in July, while it's thought that he'll also return to take on a key role in Avengers: Infinity War. Check out the video below and then be sure to let us know your thoughts on it in the usual place.

I'm more of a Marvel guy and Batman is better imo too.

But what a nice thing for Holland to do. He put a smile on a kid's face.

@ComicsBornAndBred - I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree....

No offence, but I honestly cannot find what is so interesting about Batman as a character. He has a decent rogues gallery, true, but as a character himself, he is just so bland and uninteresting. He's rich, he has all the toys (most made for him rather than by him) and he's intelligent and his biggest opponent is a....mass murdering clown? He's the literal personification of deus ex machina and of course, just because he's the only character without powers in the JL, DC makes sure to let us know at every given opportunity how he can take down the entire JL if he wanted to, ironically making him the most overpowered character in the bunch.

Spider-Man on the other hand is an actual teenager with real teenager problems who has to balance his life as a teen with his life as a superhero. He faces actual challenges. He's poor and he simply wants to see people happy. And even after all his struggle, he still jokes and quips when he could have just as easily been a boring, dark and brooding character given all the tragedy he's been through. He chooses not to go down that path on a daily basis.

Also, he doesn't claim to work alone and have an army of sidekicks work under him.

So yeah, I much prefer Spidey to Batman.

@MonsieurCringe - batman is my favorite character in all of fiction.

He had terrible things happen to him, and he DID something about it.

He's also the strategist, and I love those characters.

Cyclops is life.

Batman>>>>>>>>spider-man :D

Spidey is great in small doses, but i have so much trouble reading his solo comics. I find him quite annoying sometimes.

Everybody has different taste.

@ALostCause -

"He had terrible things happen to him, and he DID something about it."

I respect your taste but even Spidey had terrible things happen to him and even he did something about it.

Also, even Spider-Man is a strategist. In fact, he's taken out some of his villains using his brains and not always his fists.

Batman just isn't interesting to me.

@ALostCause -

I find Batman's constant brooding and 'holier-than-thou' annoying as well.

Hell, I find Daredevil >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Spider-Man >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>................ > Batman

@MonsieurCringe - yeah but my problem with spider-man is he is annoying and I find most of his daily adventures dull.

It's just my opinion, but spidey isn't even in my top ten while batman sits firmly at spot number one until the end of time.

Everyone has different taste, batman speaks to me, but spider-man doesn't.
