Smile Blu-ray

It's been an unbelievable year for Paramount and Smile is just the latest in a long line of wins for the studio, as it grossed over $216 million on an estimated $17 million production budget.

The Parker Finn-directed horror mystery will arrive on Blu-ray this Tuesday, and would make an interesting stocking stuffer if you're looking to make your holidays a tad more frightful.

Synopsis: "Psychiatrist Dr. Rose Cotter feels her grip on reality slipping after bearing witness to an unsettling, traumatic incident with a patient. Determined to regain agency over her situation, Rose must face her disturbing past head-on if she is to live to see another day."

Pulp Fiction 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

At long last, Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece Pulp Fiction is finally available on 4K Ultra HD and if you're looking for a little something extra, Best Buy has released this exclusive Steelbook that features brand new artwork of one of the film's most iconic moments.

Synopsis: Director Quentin Tarantino rethinks the gangster-movie genre with this modern crime epic, which interweaves four tales from the underbelly of L.A. into a complex and graphic story of betrayal, honor, revenge, and forbidden love.

Nope 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

Jordan Peele's third film was his most ambitious and arguably the one that warrants the most repeat viewings, so why not revisit the title over the holidays with this Best Buy-exclusive Steelbook.

Synopsis: Jill and James Haywood are enjoying success in a remote gulch in California as the owners of a farm that specializes in training horses for Hollywood projects when a mysterious phenomenon suddenly begins to take over their airspace. It doesn't take long for the residents of the lonely area to begin experiencing horrific disturbances, not only around them but also within them. As the threat continues to exercise control over the place, they make a chilling discovery.

Bullet Train 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

While the critical reception was decidedly mixed, the audience reception to David Leitch's Bullet Train was considerably more positive, which showed up in box office receipts as the Brad Pitt-starrer grossed over $239 million on an estimated $90 million production budget.

Sony has already re-issued this Steelbook, so it shouldn't be too hard to track down at your local Best Buy and if you need extra convincing, the set comes with nine collectible character cards spotlighting each assassin.

Synopsis: In Japan, five assassins board one of the fastest moving trains in the world, traveling from Tokyo to Morioka. Unbeknownst to the killers, their mission objectives bear striking resemblances, forcing them to come together and work out the unexplained phenomena that pushed them together on the speeding train.

The Batman 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

While the original Steelbook has sold out, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has issued a second Steelbook, with alternate artwork that should be plenty appealing for fans of the acclaimed Matt Reeves-directed blockbuster, which starred Robert Pattinson in the title role.

It's available at Best Buy and should be a hot item this December, so grab yours fast!

Synopsis: The continuing saga of Batman finds Bruce Wayne during his second year of secretly fighting crime in Gotham City. As he uncovers a sinister plot that has some connection with his family, Bruce as Batman faces new enemies like the Riddler and the Penguin while discovering an ambiguous ally in Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman.

Beast Blu-ray

Beast is a movie where Idris Elba punches a lion in the face.

Synopsis: The thriller centers on Dr. Nate Samuels and his two teenage daughters. When the family visits South Africa, they tour the savanna with his old friend and biologist Martin Battles. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind

If you like your animation to be ultra-violent with a constant barrage of fatalities, then, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is the movie for you!

It's one of the rare Warner Bros. Home Entertainment titles to get a Steelbook release, so it should be a welcome addition to your home collection if you're a fan of the über-successful video game series.

Synopsis: Kano returns alive and still evil as he pursues his goal of taking over Earthrealm. The heroic fighter Kenshi stands up to him and his minions, the Black Dragon mercenaries. But Kenshi is defeated and blinded. To prepare for the next battle, he asks an older Sub-Zero to train him in his quest for vengeance. The third in the series of the Mortal Kombat Legends lore, this story takes place years after the events in the sequel.

Batman: The Long Halloween Deluxe Edition / Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons

We'll lump these next two together since they both come to us from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Batman: The Long Halloween was originally released in two parts, but this set combines the films into an epic extended adventure that serves as one of DC Animation's finest entries.

Then, there's Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, a standalone entry that blends an unique animation style with a darker story that sees Jonathan Kent and Damien Wayne battle Starro!

The Long Halloween Synopsis: Based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel, this edition of Batman: The Long Halloween seamlessly combines both feature-length parts into one epic saga.

Super Sons Synopsis: Robin and Superboy must team up to save their fathers while battling the aliens headed up by Starro, who have exercised a terrible and effective control over the population, including Batman and Superman.

I have all those steelbooks, plus a sweet mediabook of Everything Everywhere from Germany. The Pulp Fiction 4k transfer is absolutely phenomenal.

The Woman King is more than just historically inaccurate. They lied about the "woman king" and her people. They didn't fight to end the slave trade. THEY TRAFFICKED IN THE SLAVE TRADE.

It was an evil, insidious lie used to push Woke b.s. messaging.

@HistoryofMatt - yeah. I thought it was hilarious when I found out the truth. It's literally the exact opposite of what they claimed. The British and the French had to send in troops to STOP the dahomey tribe from selling slaves. They ultimately had to set up a naval blockade to force them into selling palm oil instead.
