SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Hot Toys Figure Sees Jamie Foxx's Electro Power Up (With A Comic Accurate "Mask")

Hot Toys has finally started sharing figures based on Spider-Man: No Way Home's villains, and we get a very detailed look at Electro's costume (and his comic-accurate "mask") in this gallery of images.

Spider-Man: No Way Home pitted Tom Holland's web-slinger against a quintet of familiar villains, including Jamie Foxx's Electro. The Marvel Studios threequel served as redemption for the Oscar-winner; gone were the blue skin, goofy costume, and cringe-worthy lines, and in their place was a Max Dillon who felt like a credible threat to the superhero (and his Variants).

Now, Hot Toys has shared a first look at their action figure based on Electo's, well, electrifying return.

Meticulously crafted based on the villain's appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the movie-accurate figure features a newly developed head sculpt of Foxx's Electro, a detailed recreation of his practical outfit, lightning effect accessories including a star-shaped mask inspired by his original design from comic pages, and a stand that can be used to display him in all manner of poses.

Marvel Studios did a great job of creating a realistic costume for Electro that paid homage to his comic book counterpart, and the fact he had that mask was a pleasant surprise. After all, it's not something we ever expected to see in live-action, but the threequel made it work...however briefly!

We'd have loved it to be something Max actually "wore" more often than only during the moments he powered up, but thanks to this Hot Toys figure, you can make the mask a permanent addition to the villain.

Take a look at this latest Spider-Man: No Way Home Hot Toys action figure below:

The toy gives less of an electricity vibe than it does a burnt, microwaved cheese.

@outsider - These toys are as expensive enough BUT, if they wanted to REALLY get into it, they could've put small wires into the yellow plastic, extend it to his back with a battery that is able to make it light up and blink, now THAT would've been BADASS.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think this design is much of an improvement over the TASM2 look, which I think wasn't that bad to begin with.

Looks awesome! Not that I’ve ever cared to look, but I do believe Foxx has more junk in his trunk than that 😂

@SanFranLand - "Not that I’ve ever cared to look, " It's alright, pal. We are not here to judge.

Love J Foxx but hated this casting. Jamie is too handsome, too heroic looking for this role. Give him a "M" scare and call him bishop. A more flushed out Bishop.

@thundershocked - I thought he killed it here but he’d really be a great Bishop

I thought both looks of Electro looked good. This one just needed some green.

@dragon316 - Yeah, I agree, they probably could've made it functional like something on his head that helped him control the electricity to or even remotely connect to other electronic devices, that would've made sense for the electric mask.
