According to eyewitnesses, trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man have been showing with Harry Potter in countries outside of the United States and Canada. Reports describe a scene where Spider-Man is webslinging in first person perspective with his arms visible to the audience. This was hinted earlier by scriptwriter Steve Kloves in an interview for the Collider:
"Marc [Webb] had designed it in such a way that you were really following Spider-Man as he was engaging in these action sequences, and it made it much more thrilling because you felt you were with him."
The trailer is said to be much darker than previous Spider-Man films and includes scenes of Peter fighting on a subway and jumping off rooftops in his new suit.
